Thanks for the reply. After closer inspection it seems some fields have the option while others don't.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately this option doesn't seem to be available for View Layers.

On ArcGIS Online I'm using serveral maps which use View Layers. The View Layers point to a single Feature Layers which contains all the data. With the new options (Settings > Update View) I can choose the Layers then Apply Filters, Area of Interest and I can adjust the Field Visibility. What I'm missing is the option to adjust the editability for the fields. In the old settings there used to be two columns which enabled Visible and Edit. At the moment I can only find these options when I'm in the Map Viewer, but this leaves the fields editable for anyone directly viewing the View Layer. Is there anyway to set these options on the View Layers themselves?

In order to quickly reproduce settings for use in field maps it would be helpfull if a web map could be saved as a template for use in other similar projects. For example; for inspection of trees a field maps map is made with certain forms, domains and conditional formatting. For another project, the same inspection is done. It would save a lot of time if one could make one (empty dataset) field maps map with all settings, which then can be duplicated to enable datacollection in an identical way for subsequent projects

For certain types of field work our organisation uses ArcGIS Online Web Maps in the Field Maps app to collect, edit and look at certain data. Every project requires it's own unique Web Map and Feature Layer (WFL). The users go out and use them in the Field Maps app. I have set-up a Project Template in ArcGIS Pro to be able to quickly publish the structure of the WFL and Web Maps every time a new project begins. Once online I append data into the project. But there's still quite some settings I have to look at in ArcGIS Online. Furthermore I'd like to use the conditional visibility Field Maps offers. Is there any way to share and set-up an empty project (WFL, Maps and Field Maps) and clone or copy it to a unique project of it's own (while maintaining all settings such as the ones in Field Maps)?

Has this issue been resolved? Our team is also experiencing this behavior, where the map (offline usage) will react very slow and creating and editing features will become nearly impossible.

In the past, when making a Web Map from ArcGIS Pro (or ArcMap) sometimes additional Editor Tracking fields are automatic created. Other times, you might have already have these fields from old data and want to re-publish these to a new map. You'd end up with Creator and Creator_1, where one of both would be the active editor-tracking field. In recent times this causes strange problems where the new Collector App will say: "The field already exists." and then fail to load the layers where this occurs. Is there any way to get this working in the new Collector (and Field Maps) as it worked (and still does) in the Collector Classic app?

This is a great idea and I'm surprised there's not too many replies to this. I did already love the fact you get to open files (in Windows) from the results of geoprocessing tools (such as PDF and Excel files). I often have the need to browse to a folder (in Windows) to extract ZIP/RAR files or do other non-GIS stuff and going through the explorer is definitely quite a hassle sometimes. Opening the folder with a click from ArcGIS Pro would be brilliant!

Hello Tom, Thanks for your reply. It could very well be the bug you are referring to. I can add that, for me, this only occurs when working with geodatabase tables as input table. With other feature layers it does work as intended. Furthermore it first occurred in version 2.7.1. In earlier version I did not have this problem. Perhaps this information could be of use when looking into the bug fixing.

As of the 2.7.1 update I am unable to properly use queries and page queries on Table Frames and Tables in ArcGIS Pro layouts. Previously I would have a map series map layout based on a layer in my map. Then I would have a geodatabase table with a column with corresponding values of the pages. I was able to add a Table Frame to the layout with this geodatabase table and use the 'All Rows' query. Then on the geodatabase table, in the map, I could use the Page Query. As of 2.7.1 I'm not able to do this anymore. Whenever I insert a Table Frame, having selected a geodatabase table, the query option is greyed out. Is this a bug or a known issue? I can reproduce the problem, which first occurred for my colleague. In the option dialog below you can see the Query-option greyed out. The Table Frame does not apply any queries whatsoever, nor with (or without) the Page Query on the table itself.

It is no real solution, you're right. But it appears to be a bug which can not be resolved by changing the settings. I have tried your sollutions, along with any possible combination in settings but it did not resolve the problem. Furthermore, you appear to be using an old version of ArcGIS Pro. The options and the way you can export has changed quite alot. In the newer versions of ArcGIS Pro the problem did not occur for me.

This would be much appreciated. Going into Python 3 we want to make good use of the new stuff like Pathlib and f-strings.

It does actually ease the pane For me this is perfect. Sometimes the tabs build up quite fast and this way I can close them fast, keeping the Catalog open.

In ArcGIS Pro, the number of Panes build up quite fast (Create Features, Geoprocesing, Catalog etc.) Now I can close them one by one, but in many cases I would like to close them all or all but one. Would it be possible to implement such a button? A "Close All Panes" or "Close Other Panes" button.
