Hi Rupert, Thanks very much for your reply, that's very useful! I noticed in your example that the 'schedule' section is set up like a timeline wherein you can select and navigate to different dates at the bottom. This section is also compatible with internet explorer whereas the bookmarks are not. Do you know how this was done? Thanks so much, c

Using the cascade story map template, is there a way to place hyperlink text in the first slide and have it link to other parts of the story?

Hi there, I am trying to make a story map with a section that functions as a timeline, i.e. a nice-looking chain of customisable dates that can be clicked on by the user to bring up pop ups with descriptive text and pictures. These do not necessarily have to be associated with points on a map as well. Any ideas on how this might be done are welcome! Here is an example of something similar to what I am trying for: http://storymaps.esri.com/stories/2014/nuclear-moonscape/ Thanks!

I have the code from a customised story map that I would like to modify and use on my own story map (I have permission from the author). However, when I go to add the code into my ArcGIS online account I get a popup that says the file type is not supported. The code is written in JavaScript and is about 3 years old. If you have any clues on how I can make this work or other tips on how I might be able to customise my storymaps with code your input would be very welcome!
