Hi, @AndreaV , @MartinKrál I have exactly the same issue .. same logs results etc. Just for clarity ( don't want to panic or break stuff further) could you tell me what steps you took to resolve the above... I don't want to make assumptions. And thanks for your time for posting and responding Paulg

Hi Jonathan, Still working on this issue and I'm at a dead end ... We resolved the issue (partially) above by doing urlrewrite to omit the <comma> <space> <loadbalncer url and now my sharing rest login works. However I feel that this has only resolved the login issue and the redirects using the headers are causing all raster analytics gp tasks to fail (sample error code at the end). I managed to change the redirect-uri by adding ProxyAddHeaders Off and RequestHeader unset X-Forwarded-Host, RequestHeader unset X-Forwarded-For, RequestHeader unset X-Forwarded-Server - to the loadbalancer config, this resulted in the redirect_uri changing to only he internal loadbalancer address - which is of no use. Was not able to make any difference by changing the public facing reverse proxy configs .. so we opted for the Rewrite. So now when I run a rasteranalytics task I get and error that indicates that the response json is incorrect or empty ? I'm assuming because its not getting a response possibly? ** the internal address of teh analytics server is being returned in the error .. Any ideas please . Is there a way to capture the traffic to diagnose this ? .. I had planned to add some python outpt messages in teh offending .py files listed below to see a bit more of whatt was beeing sent around... but was reluctant until I asked the question. Thanks Jonathan for the reply, that is my suspicion also, we have an apache load balancer and reverse proxy - so almost 2 proxies so I rekon the headers are been joined somewhere enroute. I'm sitting down with our Apache guy today who setup the loadbalancer and the reversproxy to look at the redirects and the headers to take a look and see what we can do . Spotted this on the Apache site @ https://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.4/mod/mod_proxy.html under the section Reverse Proxy Request Headers Be careful when using these headers on the origin server, since they will contain more than one (comma-separated) value if the original request already contained one of these headers. For example, you can use %{X-Forwarded-For}i in the log format string of the origin server to log the original clients IP address, but you may get more than one address if the request passes through several proxies. See also the ProxyPreserveHost and ProxyVia directives, which control other request headers. Note: If you need to specify custom request headers to be added to the forwarded request, use the RequestHeader directive.

Hi ArcGIS Enterprise / Portal users can anybody direct me on this please .. I've tried * everything I can think of .. but I have obviously missed something !! If I try to connect to https://MYPORTAL.com/portal/sharing/rest/ and login I get redirected to and invalid redirect_uri (see it in the url below https://MYPORTAL.com,%20MYINTERNALOADBALANCERNAME.com) https://MYPORTAL.com/portal/sharing/rest/oauth2/authorize?client_id=arcgisonline&display=default&response_type=code&expiration=20160&locale=en-us&force_login=true&hideCancel=true&showSignupOption=false&redirect_uri=https://MYPORTAL.com,%20MYINTERNALOADBALANCERNAME.com/portal/sharing/rest/login? The correct redirect_uri is for this example https://MYPORTAL.com/portal/sharing/rest/login? but somehow the loadbalamcer address is being added also. MY privatePortalURL and WebContxt are correct in Portal properties. My arcgisonline appid has all the correct addresses it needs, but obviously not the one that has the portal and the loadbalancer as the address as it has a , and space in it and this is not catered for , as well as it not being the correct address. So my question how can I control this redirect_uri - is there another config somewhere?? how is it produced? . I tried IIS URL rewrite but I couldn't rewrite it .... Any ideas please, this affects a Rasteranalytics operation on the portal as the oauth2 fails with invalid redirect_uri, amongst other things. Any help on this would be hugely helpful as I'm STUCK. MY Portal is fronted by a load balancer .. so I wonder if the loadbalalncer coudlbe causig this? Its a simpel apache loadbalancer spun up by our IT guys. Any help, direction etc. hugely appreciated..... Paulg

Hi All, Can anybody direct me on this please ... We have a Portal and share content with AGOL via collaboration for content delivery to Arcgis Hub. Several months ago we had a HA Enterprise failure, but before this failure we have been publishing/creating from our portal to agol as mentioned above. Post the failure we rebuilt the Enterprise Portal and started content creation and group sharing and collaborations etc.. So we are ready to repopulate our hub site again .... and I've noticed that some of the old content still exists in our Hub site but its now not in our portal and not listed in out content library - however if you search the hub you'll find it, these items are linked to standalone server sites outside of our enterprise environment. How can I remove this content from our HUB site if it doesn't show in the content library? Apologies if the description is confusing. I can provide examples if required... Paul

Hi, I see there are numerous posts with similar issues, but any responses to those post haven't helped so I have opted for a new question, but if this is in the wrong place please feel free to move the question to an alternative thread. I have (recently installed enterprise 10.8.1 HA) and enterprise installation which I populating currently and rolling out content to a public Hub site hosted on an AGOL instance. My Enterprise content is shared with HUB and the external AGOL instance via a collaboration and all works (so far) except for the data downloads. I'm in experiment mode to better understand whats going on and to see where my issues lie, however its gotten frustrating so I wonder if there is anybody could explain where I'm going wrong or indeed tell me its not going to work the way I'm trying.. Any help is really appreciated... My test so far is a * Polygon Feature Service created on AGOL and shared publicly and with the hub content group with no editing capability but with sync capability . Once shared this layer pops up in hub as expected and for the first time when you go to download it doesn't show the feature preview (not a major issue) its says maximum feature count exceeded (but there is only 4 or 5 polys in the service), when you access the data down load options it presents with options to access the 5 formats which are all in the process of generating the files .... you cannot access anything here until its finished - mind took 8 or 10 hours before it refreshed ... Is this normal? - however once refreshed all works I can download and I can preview the features in the UI. I'm happy with this to a degree - the initial creation takes way to long - the API query tools can create the json file in seconds, but its obviously doing something more substantial in the background - but should be quicker, if the data changes you have the option to download the most recent file or fetch the new data - this has never returned for me within a session - should it ? crude example AGOL HOSTED FEATURE LAYER * Polygon Feature Service created on ENTERPRISE - created in the same way, sync on no edits and shared publicly and to the collaboration group. It performs as the example above - no preview etc. When I go to downloads - it starts to generated the file - but never completes - every time I revisit the page it says the file does not exist. Leave it for long enough and when you refresh the features are visible in the UI- but the downloads still will not work .. crude example Enterprise Hosted Feature Layer I've looked in the browser debugger - but see no obvious errors, I've looked on the Enterprise manager logs in debug mode and cannot see any definitive cause ..... Can anybody suggest a way forward, solution or observation please Regards

Hi I'm using the modules and notebooks from https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/arcgis-hub/announcements/introducing-arcgis-hub-python-api-for-sites/ and I'm running into difficulties. The issue I'm experiencing appears to be listed as a bug on the Github site, howerver I'm not fully sure. I have 2 AGOL organisations and I wan to clone the initiative/site from one or to another using the sample @ https://github.com/Esri/hub-py/tree/master/examples/For%20arcgishub%20library cloning and initiative from another org. I follow the sample and all works until the last piece - the actual cloning ! it errors with TypeError: 'NoneType' object is not subscriptable It actually clones the objectto my secondary agol instance but no content shows up and I dont have access to the site - it says I don't have permission - and I'm the owner... The traceback is TypeError Traceback (most recent call last)
In [164]:
Line 1: site = hub_basic.initiatives.clone(i1, origin_hub=myHub)
File c:\python_clone_env\arcgispro-py3_additional\src\arcgishub\arcgishub\hub.py, in clone:

Line 340: client_key = _app_dict['client_id']
TypeError: 'NoneType' object is not subscriptable Has anybody got any ideas ? have I made incorrect assumptions with cloning from instance to instance on AGOL? Have I missed a step ? Everything is Public on the origin instance . Do I have any other options for cloning content between organisations? Any guidance with this would be hugely appreciated, if I cant get it to work its back to agol assistant and a lot of cut and paste!... Paulg

Hi Mark, Thanks for the reply, your post prompted me to take a closer look and basically mine was exactly like yours. Here is the before and after version (post a bit of fiddling) Before "@type": "dcat:Catalog", "conformsTo": "https://project-open-data.cio.gov/v1.1/schema", "describedBy": "https://project-open-data.cio.gov/v1.1/schema/catalog.json", "dataset": [ { "@type": "dcat:Dataset", "identifier": "http://opendata.arcgis.com/datasets/7e95eba45eb24855aa320c10e5c4b349_0", "license": "http://opendata.arcgis.com/datasets/7e95eba45eb24855aa320c10e5c4b349_0/license.json", "landingPage": "http://opendata.arcgis.com/datasets/7e95eba45eb24855aa320c10e5c4b349_0", "title": "LOADME", "description": "{{default.description}}", "keyword": [ "DCAT_TEST" After { "@context": "https://project-open-data.cio.gov/v1.1/schema/catalog.jsonld", "@type": "dcat:Catalog", "conformsTo": "https://project-open-data.cio.gov/v1.1/schema", "describedBy": "https://project-open-data.cio.gov/v1.1/schema/catalog.json", "dataset": [ { "@type": "dcat:Dataset", "identifier": "http://opendata.arcgis.com/datasets/7e95eba45eb24855aa320c10e5c4b349_0", "license": "https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/", "landingPage": "http://opendata.arcgis.com/datasets/7e95eba45eb24855aa320c10e5c4b349_0", "title": "LOADME", "description": "{{default.description}}", "keyword": [ "DCAT_TEST" ], "issued": "2020-05-29T10:25:21.000Z", So I now know I can change the content of the DCAT and for this particular example I just hard coded it with a url as for the moment but I also got it working with the dcat elements that popup on the righthand side when your editing (excuse the terminology I couldn't find and help or direction on this) I just added one line into the DCAT configuration (bold below) but it can be dynamic using the metadata item { "title": "{{default.name}}", "description": "{{default.description}}", "keyword": "{{item.tags}}", "issued": "{{item.created:toISO}}", "modified": "{{item.modified:toISO}}", "license": "https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/", "publisher": { "source": "{{default.source.source}}" }, "contactPoint": { "hasEmail": "{{metadata.metadata.mdContact.rpCntInfo.cntAddress.eMailAdd}}", "mbox": "info@gsi.ie" } } So for the moment it works ... I just have to better understand the whole configuration aspect. Thanks for the post Paulg

Hi, I wonder if anybody has time to throw out a few ideas or knowledge snippets to help please? My issue is with an Oracle Enterprise Geodatabase (10.7.1 on Oracle 12) and Arcgis Pro 2.5 (and ArcMap). The rough overview : I have a feature class of 990,000 records with 10 attributes and I want to update one attribute for all rows using field calculate in Pro using direct connect to a non versioned feature class. The calculate is just - update a column to a value such as 110. This is simplified for testing purposes. My initial timings for this calculate is 18-20 minutes, post investigations we discovered symantec antivirus did not have exceptions for Oracle on the database server, once that was sorted the query updates in 10 mins 15 seconds, so a huge improvement but still way to slow. For this test case my desktop was communicating across the network to perform this query/update, so we used wireshark to see if there where packets or connections causing issues etc. (apologies I'm not a networking guy!) but apparently the network is fine, they also used cross over cables to test and take the actual network out of the equation but the times returned are roughly the same. For sanity sake I installed Pro on the database server and ran the query locally - and it completes in 3 mins flat - a full 7 minutes faster. The DBA has edited the sqlnet.ora as below to see if the network traffic can be addressed to reduce it .. but its had no effect so far .... # sqlnet.ora Network Configuration File: E:\app\oracle\product\12.2.0\dbhome_1\network\admin\sqlnet.ora # Generated by Oracle configuration tools. # This file is actually generated by netca. But if customers choose to # install "Software Only", this file wont exist and without the native # authentication, they will not be able to connect to the database on NT. SQLNET.AUTHENTICATION_SERVICES= (NONE) NAMES.DIRECTORY_PATH= (TNSNAMES, EZCONNECT) DR_BASE = C:\app\oracle\product\12.2.0\dbhome_1\log SQLNET.INBOUND_CONNECT_TIMEOUT=180 DIAG_ADR_ENABLED = OFF Send_buf_size=65536 recv_buf_size=65536 default_sdu_size=65535 So can anybody recommend and approach to isolate the issue, as it only arises when i introduce the network into the equation , can anybody spot something glaringly obvious that I'm missing. Is it possibly something in ArcGIS Pro that can be configured? Any thought observations or direction would be hugely appreciated. Cheers Paulg

Updated LOGGED and a BUG reference BUG-000110444 - to be fixed in a future release WebApp Builder Online edition has a CSS issue for the Foldable Theme In the Foldable theme I have to maximize the browser window for the widgets to show on the Header bar, otherwise they are below the header bar centralized and undiscoverable as they are the same colour as my map background. Any ideas of how to fix? The same result is in firefox, IE and Chrome and is only a recent phenomenon (December 2017) The images below show roughly what the viewer sees image1.png is how the app launches the widgets are highlighted in red and image2.png shows the app when maximized the widgets are highlighted in blue
