While using TransferAttribute tool(Transfer Geometry option is checked) of spatial adjustment in a data which is having geometric network, few connected line's geometries got stretched(instead of modifying the end point/vertex). But the 'Stretch Proportionately' option is already unchecked(turned off). How to fix it. Please suggest.

Hi, Multiple addins are having few common dll files as reference. So during execution time, under AssemblyCache, Multiple folders, one for each addin(with the same common dll) is maintained which consumes more memory. Is there any option to copy the supporting dll in GAC path and make the addin to refer the folder? Currently what we have is: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\ESRI\Desktop<version>\AssemblyCache \xxxx\commonReferenced.dll C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\ESRI\Desktop<version>\AssemblyCache \yyyy\commonReferenced.dll Expected output is(something like) given below: (instead duplicating the dll in multiple folder, the GAC folder should be used.) How to achieve this in addins? C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\assembly\GAC_MSIL\commonReferenced.dll

@RobertBorchert wrote: I would contact Ericsson and find out if their application is compatible with .1 Is it taking that long just to start ArcMap or to start an MXD. If it is taking that long just to start ArcMap then you may have issues with Ericsson However, a different trick I learned is mxd's don't always upgrade nicely. Once you get your MXD open start a new blank session From your layout view select all elements and paste them into the new mxd. Also, you may try running MXD Doctor on your mxd It is taking that long just to start ArcMap.

Hi, Arcmap 10.8.1 is installed along with (Ericsson)NetworkEngineer. In this environment, Arcmap consumes more time to open. When we tried to open Arcmap, it takes around 10 to 15minutes. How to reduce this time consumption. Please suggest.

You can try to change the image of button to indicate that it is active/inactive based on the required condition(for Appearance purpose and in the backend you have to implement your logic to accomplish the functionality) . Code snippet is given below for your reference. internal class btnViewConfig : Button
{
protected override void OnClick()
{
this.SmallImage = new BitmapImage(new Uri("pack://application:,,,/YourAssemblyName;component/Resources/Activated.png"));
this.LargeImage = new BitmapImage(new Uri("pack://application:,,,/YourAssemblyName;component/Resources/Activated.png"));
}

In ArcGIS runtime SDK for .Net, under transaction there is a method named "RollbackTransaction" to undo all changes. But I want to undo the last few events and to accomplish is there any method is available? For example: In ArcGIS-Pro, after start-editing and before stop-editing, we can undo/redo the events one by one. Similar things I want in perform by using ArcGIS runtime SDK for .Net. Kindly suggest.

Hi All, Actually the start time and end time fields are already configured in the input.Geodatabase file. During Timeslider-execution, we can able to see the features whose start time and end time (both the values) are within the map-TimeExtent. But if anyone of these value(start/end) falls within map-TimeExtent and other value is falls outside map-TimeExtent then such features are not displayed. Kindly suggest, how to resolve this issue.

Hi All, The issue was resolved and the sample code snippet is given below. //The below one is the code which was used initially and it was build successfully without any error. But no expected output. SketchEditConfiguration sktEditConfig = MyMapView.SketchEditor.EditConfiguration; sktEditConfig.AllowRotate = true; Esri.ArcGISRuntime.Geometry.Geometry newGeometry = await MyMapView.SketchEditor.StartAsync(geom); //This below given code is replaced with the above one and now it is working fine. SketchEditConfiguration sktEditConfig = new SketchEditConfiguration(); sktEditConfig.AllowRotate = true; Esri.ArcGISRuntime.Geometry.Geometry newGeometry = await MyMapView.SketchEditor.StartAsync(geom,SketchCreationMode.Polyline,sktEditConfig);

In fact I am looking for the option like to move and rotate and scale. In ArcObjects, by using ITransform2D method we can do almost all these things. Hence I feel it would be useful, if we have the similar method in ArcGIS runtime also.

Hi All, I want to rotate and resize the feature by using "MapView.SketchEditor", with the options 'AllowRotate' and 'ResizeMode' in 'SketchEditConfiguration' are set as True. I can able to edit the vertices. But I cann't able to find any Anchor-Point which enables me to rotate or resize. Kindly suggest the way to achieve this.

Hi Morten, Thank for the response. Iterating vertices will increase the execution time if the geometry has more number of vertices. Without iterating through the vertices, is there any option like "ITransform2D method which is available in arcobjects"? So that we can move or rotate the geometry by using inbuilt functionality.
