Suppose you perform an analysis, with the desired settings of limiting the analysis to the current map view, or not. Then, you add something to one of the map note layers for which the analysis was already done. From what I've seen, it is not possible to "refresh" the analysis to include the added point/map note. Instead, a new, unique analysis needs to be created. Is this intentional? Would it be possible to "update" an analysis?

We are doing a project in ArcGIS Online with high school students and notice that when searching Living Atlas Layers, we no longer get thumbnails of what the layers look like. Instead, that list version comes up. Getting to the categories is trickier, too. Students don't know what they'd get until they click on a layer name. That's fine when you already know what you want, but if you don't, it's more time consuming and frustrating. Can I get the previous look for this? Is there a preference setting for my organization? If not, then please go back to that style. We realize that this might have been done to preserve working server space, but it makes it more challenging for newcomers to the system. Thanks for your consideration.

We could surely benefit from the incorporation of legend property options in the online ArcGIS. I asked if it was possible to configure the visible features (example: limit the number of map notes being shown) in a question post, and got this reply. Would be great to be able to limit the symbols, etc that are shown to ones that are used in the current map extent. That'd really clean up presentations that students make, and simplify the look of a map or presentation.
