Hey Phil, The fault has always been present since we released these specific forms. One thing that seems to be a constant is that it happens more often with submissions with more attachments (photos). We have tweaked and republished these surveys and services a number of times to try and alleviate the issue, to no avail so far. The thing to note is that the survey does actually get correctly submitted. It's just the app does not get notified and "hangs" at sending. When the user backs out, the sent survey shows up in the outbox again. We are using a custom deployment of Survey123 ( at v3.1.158) but have tried this on Survey123 as well and the same issue occurs. Also, we are not using hosted feature services. We collect to our own published services. Wondering if there is some consideration when capturing this way? We have dozens of other surveys that work fine, it just seems to be the ones that have a large number of photos attached which are causing issues. Thanks!

We are experiencing something similar with our surveys (v3.1.158). The user submits the survey, the many photos are attached and the survey submitted but the survey still becomes stuck in the outbox. I'm wondering if somethings is timing out and a response isn't getting back to the device to notify it of the successful submission? We end up getting multiple duplicates in the database because the users attempt to send the survey again and again as they believe it has failed. Has anyone else come across a similar issue? Ryan

Sorry, I should have read a bit more carefully. Our issue is slightly different. Later Survey123 releases maintained user login information. Now if the app is closed or a period of time has elapsed (~ 1 hr) the user is logged out and needs to log in again. Its actually surprising how much this slows down our users. We are using Portal 10.6 with in-build identity store for authentication.

I have the same problem as Wael. While your solution corrects our data for the one date field we specify in the time tab, not the other dates. We have multiple date fields in each record (5 to be exact). Is there any way to universally update the timezone for the entire layer, not just a single field? I've attached a screenshot that shows the discrepancy of the data from the database and how is displays in our Portal.

For anyone still following this, some of our issues seems to have been resolved after upgrading our portal to 10.3.1. The original problem could have stemmed from projection incompatibilities of the services and the basemap (although there was no indication of this to be the case from any of the error msgs). Adding http://geo.weather.gc.ca/geomet/?lang=E&SERVICE=WMS&REQUEST=GetCapabilities now will change to a basemap to match and give an compatibility warning when trying to change to another basemap.

Digging deeper, this may have something to do with different date formats. I noticed that when using an absolute date the date picker actually creates an invalid date string because it is looking got a dd/mm/yyyy format (the data is stored in mm/dd/yyyy).

We have an operations Dashboard that displays water maintenance jobs and their priorities/statuses for our clients. We would like the ability to create filters to show only jobs that are becoming due (i.e. within the next 24 hours). Our featureclass contains the targeted date information and I can create the filter (TargetDate Is Within the Next 24 Hours) but this causes our server logs to light up with Severe level error messages as per the tech article here. What is even more strange is that the error is reporting on a different date field we are not even using for our filter. It would also seem that our instance dislikes the errors to the point of becoming unresponsive with our portal and servers hanging for about 15 minutes or so. When everything eventually comes back up, this is all the server logs give us to go on. Has anyone had to deal with this issue before? Is this potentially a Operations Dashboard bug? Has anyone had success creating filters based on date fields for their own dashboards?

I am currently dealing with the exact same issue. Extents, pop-up configuration, filters, etc. that are set in the webmap are not adhered to in my Dashboard. Were you ever able to find a solution?

We are seeing the exact same issue with the Operational Dashboard browser viewer hosted on our Portal. The same service will work with a bar chart but not with a summary or gauge widget. Strange stuff. Would love to get some insight into this.

Jose, I tried and successfully added a WMS service from my own ArcGIS server, as well as one from a local council's ArcGIS server. However, you may be onto something that only wms services published by ArcGIS can be accessed by ArcGIS for Portal.
