Hey! As a follow up to this question: can I remove the "(required)" that shows up at the end of each question in the Crowdsource app when I've made the field unable to accept null values? I'd like to customize the text to say something along the lines of "required by xyz rule..." When I do that now, I get "(required by xyz rule...) (required)"

Hi Kelly- I'm having the same issue as the original poster, but I've already enabled editing in the feature service's settings and the error still comes up. Any idea why? I've tried signing out and in after enabling editing.

I'm using ArcGIS for Desktop v 10.5 and editing features in a file geodatabase. When I'm in EDIT mode and I choose "Edit vertices..." the cursor turns from the black arrow to the white arrow. Normally, when I'm done in "Edit Vertices," I do "Save edits" and the cursor jumps back to black and allows me to select and move whole features again. However, now (as of the last couple of days) it won't change back to black, so I can no longer select the feature. Even if I stop and restart the editing session, the cursor is still white. The only way I can get the black cursor back is to close out my MXD and re-open, which is obviously frustrating and not efficient. Are there any mouse strokes or keystrokes to force the cursor back to the black mode? arcmap editing selection cursor cursor #editvertices #editingcursor

I tried replacing the FeatureServer URL with the Map Server URL, and the table became usable (this isn't really a useful fix because you don't have as much control of the layers within the map). When viewed through an app (I created one on WAB), the table is completely visible. Wish I knew what was actually wrong. Sorry this is isn't more helpful.

Our server is version 10.3. I tried replacing the FeatureServer URL with the Map Server URL, and the table became usable. But I don't like using the MapServer URL because I don't have as much control of the layers within the map. Interestingly, I created an app with WAB and looked at the web map through it. When viewed through the app, the table is completely visible. So that kind of fixes the ultimate issue, but I would still love to know whey the table isn't visible in the web map in the map viewer.

I added a feature service from our ArcGIS Server. I published that from a .mxd and the attribute table and all other features seemed to work fine within the .mxd.

I added a feature service from ArcGIS Server REST URL. Could that be the reason or the problem?

Hey all, I'm making a web map on ArcGIS Online. When I open the attribute tables of the feature layers while I'm in the webmap, they're blank. The field headers are there, but there is no data. When I open the features as shapefiles in a .mxd file, the attribute tables are fine. This seems like something that probably has an easy fix, but I've tried everything I can think of. Any thoughts? Thanks!

I think there's something wrong with the data. I'm going to try to get the raw data and re-correct it, then see if it works. I'll let you guys know if I figure something out.

Thanks, Jayanta. I tried those tricks just in case, but it didn't make a difference. I've always been able to export with no problems, but I've previously done the differential correction of the raw data myself. That's why I think this problem may be related to how the correction was done, or something like that.

Thanks, Dan. I've done it many, many times with no problems, but in those instances, I did the differential correction of the raw data myself. The procedure I use is : -In Utilities menu, choose "Export..." -Browse to the .COR file I want to export and choose it -Browse to and choose the output file I want -I already have all the Properties checked that I want, but I did double check those, just in case -Then I press "Ok." -It always prompts me to remind me that I don't have a coordinate system chosen (I leave WGS 84 as the default, then define it in Arc because I've had better results doing it this way), so I just tell it to continue and then it exports.

Using Pathfinder Office, I'm trying to convert a .cor file (differentially corrected GPS data) to a shapefile, but am only getting a .inf file and a .txt. file as a result. Does this mean the original data collected was corrupted? I didn't collect it and don't have the original data on the GPS, so I'm just working with .cor files sent to me.

I have this exact same problem. I tried taking all the Arc online basemaps out and that fixed it (I had a basemap in there that wasn't turned on, but just having it in the layers caused a problem). This sucks because those basemaps are really great, but not worth closing and re-opening my MXD 100 times.
