Any idea where I can find some sample videos to work with the FMV extension? I would like to use this type of video for training purposes for myself and my staff.

My own question has been answered by the March 2015 release of ArcGIS online. With the new smart mapping, a legend will only show what is being displayed at the time. For instance, there are no hurricane warnings at this time so that isn't shown. It's not exactly what I asked about but a much needed improvement. Here's the app that I was having the most trouble with. http://ngdomops.maps.arcgis.com/apps/PublicInformation/index.html?appid=5a6286ad46304c64b7f5f24521a06c3f

I work in the emergency management section of the Alabama National Guard and manage our web GIS. When we are in a disaster response or doing a weather briefing, we use the ESRI Public Information Map. The ESRI Disaster Response Program's watches and warnings rest provides very reliable information. However, the legend displays everything under a watch/warning possible. How do I filter the legend to only show the features that are visible in the map frame? http://ngdomops.maps.arcgis.com/apps/PublicInformation/index.html?appid=5a6286ad46304c64b7f5f24521a06c3f

IIt depends on what the PDF will be used for. We use them as a redundancy for field collection so we need the attributes so the map will interact with the device's GPS.

I have a lot of records within the point feature for a project that I am working on. There are 3 particular image fields associated with these records. Each field contains a different image name for any given feature. I tried creating hyperlinks and attachments but couldn't find a solution to retrieve data from more than one field. If you are working within ArcMap you can use HTML popup properties on the layer with and XSL template to achieve what you desire. Mark Much appreciated for pointing this functionality out to me. This seems ideal for what I want to achieve. Would you be able to offer any advice on how to write this code? My unique identifier is "Code" My image fields are "HOTLINK_NE" "HOTLINK_O" "HOTLINK_M" Within each of these fields any given record contains an image name with the extension (.JPEG) or otherwise "n/a". These images are in a folder on my computers desktop. Yes, I put an example here http://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=1a4d6680918b461e9effbff413536c22 There are two layers, One shows a pattern for linking to the local file, the other shows the picture in the popup. The example uses a picture named 'IMG_9822.JPG' The picture is located in the C:\Users\Public\Pictures folder on the computer. I loaded the default XSL Template (click the Load button) I then added this to the <xsl:template match = "Field"> section in the <xsl:choose> part. Link to picture
<xsl:choose>
<xsl:when test="FieldValue[contains(., '.JPG')]">
<a target="_blank">
<xsl:attribute name="href">file:///C:/Users/Public/Pictures/<xsl:value-of select="FieldValue"/>
</xsl:attribute>
<xsl:value-of select="FieldValue"/>
</a>
</xsl:when>
Show picture in popup
<xsl:choose>
<xsl:when test="FieldValue[contains(., '.JPG')]">
<img target="_blank">
<xsl:attribute name="src">file:///C:/Users/Public/Pictures/<xsl:value-of select="FieldValue"/></xsl:attribute>
<xsl:attribute name="width">450 </xsl:attribute>
</img>
</xsl:when>
Here is a copy of the whole template for the show picture in popup.

Hi Carol, Thanks for your fast reply and please accept my apologies for my slow one. It doesn't matter what device, browser, or method that I use to load the dashboard (hyperlink or the "Open in" option in AGOL), it simply fails to load. I have no https and all 4 feature services are hosted in my AGOL organzation's account. I have messed around with one of the editable feature services several times, I'm thinking about going back and creating it from scratch to see if that helps. Thanks again for your reply. Cheers!
