I was contacted by a user at one of our fire departments. He is using ArcReader to view hydrants and valves (which was set up for him by an outside contractor). He asked if there was a way to get a count of the number of hydrants or to see the data. I've downloaded this program and can't see any way for a user to view the attribute table or even get an overall count of the number of features in a layer in the pmf file. Am I overlooking something? There doesn't seem to be any way for him to export the information either as a layer or even csv file, either. Suggestions or help needed, please!

I'm confusing myself with the terminology. If I go to the next section and add a slide I don't have the option to reorder it. I have 3 sections and I'm trying to move one slide from "Natural Resources" to "Coastal Wetlands". I guess it's not called a slide, it's called a view - here's the one I need to put in the next section Is there a way to add a new view into the next section?

I have a Cascade story map built with 3 immersive sections. I need to move a map and some text from one immersive section to another one. How do I do that? The Organize button only lets me rearrange the sections. Here's the link to the Story Map: https://bit.ly/2Lf2Kd4 . The part I need to move is the last map in section 1 - it says Coastal Wetlands and it needs to be moved into the next immersive section. Thanks in advance!

All- I am confounded by metadata in AGOL. Layers in our enterprise geodb have metadata, but when published to a hosted feature layer, all metadata is missing. The only information stored with the layer is whatever was entered in the Item Description area of the Service Editor. I have enabled metadata for our organization. I found this in the AGOL help docs: For hosted web layers that already had metadata in the data from ArcMap when you published, and at the time your organization was not enabled for metadata (for example, before July 8, 2015), you can enable viewing that metadata in the hosted web layer item by opening the metadata editor and clicking Save. This populates the metadata editor with the metadata in the style configured by the organization. This seems to be describing my situation, but when I follow this, it doesn't work. It seems the only way to add metadata to a hosted layer is through the metadata editor, which is slow and cumbersome. Although all parts of metadata are important, my GIS Director is particularly concerned with the field attribute descriptions. Can anyone please give me some guidance on how to get metadata to show up in AGOL? TIA!

Thanks, Craig. We'll look into ArcGIS Home. I ended up going into the assignments layer in AGOL, adding to a new web map with full editing control, and then adjusted the status on the assignment. Thanks for your quick answer!

Is it possible in Workforce to change the worker assignment after marking the assignment completed? We have a project where the dispatcher assigned a task to himself, and then marked it completed, but realized he should have given it to another worker. Is there a way he can go back and change the status, and then change the worker? Seems like once an assignment is marked as completed the editing options are limited (can edit assignment type, location, priority, due date, description, but not change the worker). Am I missing something? Thanks in advance!

I'm getting this error ever since IT moved our network drive to a new location - I even built a new project in the new location and STILL get this error - I do not see anything still pointing to the old location. I have to browse to the aprx file in File Explorer and open it from there - very annoying!

Allow functionality to be able to easily pull workforce statistics such as: number of tickets closed per worker, elapsed time between opening and closing tickets, average time of ticket from each stage (open to closed).

Is there a way to run reports on Workforce statistics, such as how many tickets are opened/closed by worker, or to show the time between opening or closing a ticket? We've been using Workforce for several of our departments since last year and our IT Manager would like to be able to run reports that generate just basic statistics such as those. Is that available in Workforce?

Yes, I see that - but see how that give you the list of all the manzanas? I don't want to show the individual features until the user clicks on them. I think I've got it working now, though. Thank you for your help!

Thank you. So you are able to search on it the way I'm envisioning? In that case it must be something with my app configuration?

The way I was thinking the app would be, the user would type in the MSBU name - Our parcel numbers are so long and convoluted most people don't know their own number. I suppose they could use their address too so I should add the ESRI World Geocoder.

Ok, I've made some headway by setting the lookup layer to be MSBUs and MSBU parcels, then setting the search by layer to be MSBU Parcels, Then setting the search to be MSBUs. The only issue with that config is the first time the user searches on a MSBU, a parcel is also highlighted. (I think the one with the lowest ObjectID).
