Hi, 1. Use Extract by rectangle tool (Spatial analyst > Extraction) on the NetCDF raster layer, this works fine and gives the correct pixel values for the clipped output. Or 2. Export the NetCDF raster layer into a permanent raster and then use the clip tool this gives the correct pixel values for the output. Thank You, Gayathri

Hi, Yes, you could still determine slope using 3D Analyst. 3D Analyst has a slope tool(3D Analyst Tools > Raster Surface> Slope). Thank You, Gayathri A.

Hi, Yes, it is possible to export to a 3D PDF format using Data Interoperablility extension. However, the input has to be format supported by Data Interoperability extension. Here is the link that show the supported formats, http://www.esri.com/~/media/Files/Pdfs/library/fliers/pdfs/data-interop-formats.pdf Thank You, Gayathri A.

Hi, Currently it is not possible to create a 3D PDF from ArcScene. However, To export a ArcScene document as an image or 2D (VRML): File > Export Scene > 2D http://resources.arcgis.com/en/help/main/10.1/index.html#//00q800000105000000 File > Export Scene > 3D http://resources.arcgis.com/en/help/main/10.1/index.html#//00q8000000w9000000 To view the VRML files, you can use any free plugin for viewing vrml. Here's one http://www.cortona3d.com/Try-Buy/Downloads.aspx 4. To share your 3D document to other users, you can also use ArcGlobe to visualize your data and use publisher extension to create a published map to share to other users. However, to publish you will need Publisher extension for ArcGIS. http://resources.arcgis.com/en/help/main/10.1/index.html#//000s00000001000000 Thank you, Gayathri A.

Hi, Open a new ArcMap session and bring the layer into this new one, start editing and see if you can edit the attribute table in here. If everything goes fine on the new mxd then it may be that the other mxd is corrupted. You could try the MXD doctor utility and that may fix it. Thank you, Gayathri A.

Hi, Please check to see if you have any other versions of python installed on your computer ArcGIS version 10 uses python 2.6. This can be checked by going to Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs. If there are other versions of Python, please remove them. You can run the repair install on ArcGIS 10 once the other version of Python have been removed so that Python 2.6 can be properly installed. Thank you, Gayathri A.

Hi, Is the raster a GRID format? If so, use an Explorer window to browse to the grid. Within the GRID directory, there should be a prj.adf file. You can rename or delete this file or if the raster has any .aux files rename those and the raster will then show up with an unknown coordinate system. Thank You, Gayathri A.

Hi, It looks like you are saving your output raster to a grid format, try to save your output raster as a TIFF or IMG (example raster_name.tif or rastername.img). Below is our online documentation on the naming convention required for the grid file format. Esri grid format (Under Storage Limitations) http://help.arcgis.com/en/arcgisdesktop/10.0/help/index.html#//009t0000000w000000. The name of a grid is limited as follows: It cannot be stored using spaces. It cannot start with a number. It cannot be longer than 13 characters (a multiband grid is allowed up to 9 characters). Thanks, Gayathri A.

Choose the trace tool from the editor toolbar . 4. Trace the polygon. 5. Finish the sketch. 6. Save your edits. I hope this helps. Thank You, Gayathri A.

Hi, I am not sure what is the current format of your image? In general you could convert your image to any other supported format like IMG, TIFF, etc other than an Esri grid. Here is a list of the supported raster formats. Also here is a link about Esri Gird format. Thanks, Gayathri A.

Hi, Are you saying the output polygon featureclass that was created as a result from the raster to polygon tool is missing in the file geodatabase? May be your geodatabase got corrupted, try to make a copy of your geodatabase in another folder location and see if the output is visible there. Thanks, Gayathri A.
