Hi Jay, When something like this happens I would suggest deleting the browser cache and if that does not work try another browser as something to try to rule out being something browser specific issues. Also checking out https://status.arcgis.com/ can see if there is a more general outage. Also the always favorite wait and try again later as these issues do tend to resolve themselves. Regards, Jason R.

I can add a few details here. Business Analyst Pro will default to hybrid out of the box however if Business Analyst Desktop is also installed it will follow the apportionment selections in Business Analyst Desktop>Preferences>Data tab. I believe one can create a statistical data collection (BA Pro's version of a customer BDS layer) to create a layer used for enrichment with a different apportionment setting but admittedly this is something that should be possible though I have not personally tried yet. Andreas, So looks like the exact details of the algorithm is proprietary so cannot be shared however received a more generalized description that hopefully provides more details below here. We use a multi-iteration heuristic algorithm, that is having features of genetic algorithms. On each iteration optimization algorithm is performing assessment of territory solution against the balancing criteria and applying heuristic approaches for optimization of a solution. It is not necessarily that each next iteration would make solution better, so algorithm makes selection of most promising solution candidates for evolution of optimization process. Regards, Jason R.

LeeAnne, Custom BDS layers are basically just designed for use in ArcGIS Business Analyst Desktop. I would recommend exporting the Custom BDS to create a simple polygon feature class version to work with and see how the hover popups work locally and after pushing up to cloud world. Cheers, Jason R.

Hello Andres, Wandering around in the Help documentation took a while even for me before I found basically the section that references these functions. It is the last section at this help link basically. Create Manual Territories Territory Solution—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation The complete Territory Design toolset functionality-wise is still on the ArcGIS Business Analyst Desktop side so if someone is serious about this still set could recommend starting there first as there are several TS solution types. Here are some syntax references for Territory Design toolbox: An overview of the Analysis toolset—Territory Design Toolbox | Documentation Regards, Jason R.

Robert, Glad to hear! Admittedly my expertise is more on the software analytics so can be tough to keep up all the good stuff that gets added to Esri web apps and other cloud based tools. Cheers, Jason R.

Andreas, The closest functionality to this that comes to my mind is Territory Design tool which is part of ArcGIS Business Analyst Desktop. The below help link details how the toolset leverages some network analyst extension capability (which is included with Business Analyst). Basically drive time or distance and some historical time of day/traffic analysis. Setup distance measurement—Help | Documentation Also more detail here on what Territory Design is: What is Territory Design?—Help | Documentation Regards, Jason R.

John, I double checked and see that SQFTCODE is definitely not included as a field in a business query in the Business Analyst Web App. I will inquire internally for an explanation. It could be that there is some license restrictions or as simple as a choice for it not to be included. Regards, Jason R.

Hi LeeAnn, On your question here are you actually working with an actual custom BDS layer or simply a polygon feature class/shapefile? Regards, Jason R.

Robert, This sounds like an enhancement request. I would suggest heading over to the Ideas to post this at the below link. Personally the next step in point to point functionality from straight line (as the crow flies) distance to drive time/drive distance. ArcGIS Ideas Regards, Jason R.

Hello Shirley, I can only answer on a very small thing in your post here regarding Infographic options in ArcGIS Business Analyst Desktop. There is one it is actually a single button toolbar so going to Customize>Toolbars and turning on the Infographics toolbar. It has limited functionality and one needs be logged into ArcGIS Online in the File menu to use. Regards, Jason R.

Melissa, As as what these two products bring to the table i would start with looking at the first few intro pages to see which analysis tools could so with the data that you are working with. What is the ArcGIS Spatial Analyst extension?—ArcGIS Help | Documentation What is Business Analyst Desktop?—Help | Documentation Personally I am more familiar with Business Analyst Desktop but could imagine what one can do having some volumetric type data derived potentially from parcel data and which tools could be beneficial. If you can provide a bit more of what type of analysis you are imagining and with what data that you ahve. Regards, Jason R.
