I ran into this same issue in my CRA app. Thanks for the browserslist fix above. Do we think the issue is including IE11 basically? And will this be fixed for 4.14? Thanks

In the ArcGIS Javascript API 4.18 I'm noticing when clicking a feature with a popup template in a feature layer with a filter applied to the related layerview, other features in the layer that aren't visually shown and don't meet the filter's where clause. Is this the intended behavior? If so, is there an option to not include the additional features in the popup? Here is a JSBIN with a simple example: https://jsbin.com/dogezajiru/edit?html,output

I would recommend simply switching the content property to a function like this: const popup = new PopupTemplate( { title: "Project: <a href=\"http://pr/profile.aspx?pid={projectNumber}\" target=\"_blank\" >{projectName}</a>", content: ({graphic}) => { const { startDate, endDate } = graphic.attributes; const start = `${startDate.getFullYear()}-${startDate.getMonth()}-${startDate.getDate()}`; const end = `${endDate.getFullYear()}-${endDate.getMonth()}-${endDate.getDate()}`; return `<p><b>Start Date:</b> ${start} <b>End Date</b>: ${end}<p>`; } }); I find it much easier to just create my own custom function for adjusting the field values instead of using the fieldInfos objects.

I don't think this is available currently withing the api. I was wondering if it would be possible to force a subset of features in a feature layer to draw on top when rendered in a mapview. Maybe this could be specified with a definition query?

When filtering out some features using the featureFilter function, why are features that are supposed to be filtered out still appearing in my popups? Here is an example in JSBIN that demonstrates what I am talking about: JS Bin - Collaborative JavaScript Debugging Click the filter button Click "Winter" Navigate to a feature and click Observe popup with too many features (Shouldn't be 24 features here) I noticed that a similar bug was fixed in 4.13 to prevent popups from showing if they are filtered that exist on their own. But they seem to still be included in the popup if another feature that meets the filter requirements is clicked. Thanks in advance for your consideration.

This seems to have been fixed with the 4.13 version of the javascript api. If you can migrate to the latest version, that would likely fix this issue.

The Popup's reposition function doesn't do anything in this jsbin example with a viewDiv that has a 500px height. Here's the relevant code I'm using: view.popup.watch("visible", function(val) { if (val) { view.popup.reposition(); } }); Here's the JSbin example.

Thanks for the reply. This workaround seems to work ok for my use case. It would have been nice to have this included in the Release Notes (Breaking Changes)

In the latest version of the js api (4.14), when I create a simple popup template like this: ... popupTemplate:{ title: 'test', content: '<div class="customClass">Green</div>' } ... Why is my "customClass" being removed in the resulting popup html? Here is a simple example in JS Bin: JS Bin - Collaborative JavaScript Debugging In this example, I would have expected the "Green" text in the body of the popup to appear green. This issue doesn't seem to happen when reverting back to the 4.13 version of the api.

I've tried this and it seems to only work sometimes. Here is a sample updated JSBIN In this example, after toggling a few times, the screenshot is sometimes black. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks for your response.

I am trying to wait for the view's basemap to update and finish drawing after a basemap toggle event. Is there a good consistent way to wait for the complete rendering of the map before trying the screenshot? I was thinking of watching the "updating" property on the basemap layerviews, but this seems cumbersome. Also, if I have many feature layers, would I have to watch the "updating" property on all layers before safely using the take screenshot function? Here is a JSBIN showing a quick example of what I am talking about. Click the basemap toggle to see what I am referring to.

Use the click event on the mapview. view.on("click", (e) => { if(e.button === 2){ console.log("right click happened"); } })
