The issues with not controlling label placement are improved, but live on in 2.4. These are labels that I had to create in the 3D layer. The label placement buttons look greyed out, but if you expand to open the full label panel you can change the position here. However, the alignment options still don't work. I'd really like to be able to center my multi-line labels.

I am trying to run the terrain preprocessing arcHydro tools from a standalone python script. However, upon running ArcHydroTools.BuildWalls(), I get the error: System.InvalidCastException: Conversion from string "" to type 'Double' is not valid. ---> System.FormatException: Input string was not in a correct format. at Microsoft.VisualBasic.CompilerServices.Conversions.ParseDouble(String Value, NumberFormatInfo NumberFormat) at Microsoft.VisualBasic.CompilerServices.Conversions.ToDouble(String Value, NumberFormatInfo NumberFormat) --- End of inner exception stack trace --- at Microsoft.VisualBasic.CompilerServices.Conversions.ToDouble(String Value, NumberFormatInfo NumberFormat) at Microsoft.VisualBasic.CompilerServices.Conversions.ToDouble(String Value) at ESRI.APWR.ApHydro.ArcHydroOp.BuildWalls(ApLayers apLayers, Double innerWallHeight, Double wallBuffer, Double breachLineBuffer, ITrackCancel& trackcancel, IGPMessages& messages, String& exMessage) in C:\Builds\HydroSolutions\10.3_ArcHydro\Sources\ArcHydroTools\src\ApHydro\ArcHydroOp.vb:line 13815 Failed to execute (BuildWalls). I have used ArcHydroTools.SetTargetLocations to set a local folder and GDB. The previous tool in my python script, ArcHydroTools.DEMReconditioning, runs just fine. The output of ArcHydroTools.BuildWalls() is in a folder. I have tried clearing my temp folder. I have arcpy.env.mask set to the same layer as the outer walls. I am using python 2.7.8, arcpy is from arcMap 10.3.1, and Arc Hydro for ArcGIS 10.2 (version 10.2, March 30 2015) Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I have created a vector field of a netCDF using the Vector Field renderer (see: Drawing raster data using vector symbols). Now I'd like to display a legend that indicates what speeds the lengths of the arrows represent. However, inserting the layer in the legend just produces a single symbol. See attached. What can I do!? I have tried, adding the NetCFD layer again as vector layer, but then I don't have any information about the resampling done by the Vector Field renderer.

Hi, I am trying to write a script that will run the Interactive Flow Path Tracing Tool, which is on the arcHydro toolbar. I would like to use a script so that I can process a large set of input locations. My plan is to do so using Python. However, I cannot find the tool in the arcHydro toolbox, and do not think there is a way to access the tool on the toolbar with arcPy, as I would have with VB. Does anyone have a suggestion for how to access the Interactive Flow Path Tracing Tool in a Python script? Thanks, Joanna
