Thanks James! This came as a surprise and I only now need to update links on websites, looks like any previous postings with 'webclient' no longer are functioning as of this release as mine have worked up until just very recent\potentially just beginning today.

This text appears before any answer is even given. There is a constraint on the questions and even after satisfactory answers the text remains. It also has no default set. These are text fields, required, and not part of a group. Where did this text come from and why is it present even though my answer is correct? How do I get rid of it? It's leading people to believe they are doing something incorrect. There is also spacing issues with my html elements in a note field:

I created a survey in a previous version of Connect and upgraded to 2.6 successfully all with the survey still working. It has stopped working at the old URL and I now notice a new release of Connect has been made available, 2.8.4. My previous URL included "webclient" and now it includes "shares" in its place. Is this expected? It has generated complaints from departments and the public citizens using it. Was this announced?Did I miss something along the way? Is this related to the update? Should I republish my survey through the new Connect? Is republishing surveys through updated Connect versions a recommended workflow?

I removed the inputMask values and am noticing no functional difference with or without them. I will keep them removed since you have made this point a few times now. But in fact the only time I am getting different results (with or without the inputMasks) is when I mark the geopoint question as read only. When read only is 'yes' the form does not save location. When left unmarked (blank) it will save the location. This is great but not what I need. I need the map to be read only and save the calculated location. I tried to change one address with to prefix with a single quotation mark as such: '1 --The excel gave a cell warning saying it was a number stored as text which I ignored and went to publish to AGOL anyway. It works. It would otherwise be tedious to do this to all but I did some VBA code to change them all at once. For those needing instruction: Select the range of cells you need to add the ' to With your xlsx open press ALT+F11 Go to insert>module and paste this: Sub Addapostrophe() 'updateby Extendoffice 20151207 For Each cell In Selection cell.Value = "'" & cell.Value Next cell End Sub press F5 to run. All the selected cells will have updated. Close the VBA windows. To save your xlsx form save as normal and when prompted you must save without macros, your cells will keep the applied formatting. You will no longer have decimals in your lists. Trying to add the single quotation in another workbook like this ="'"&CELL will not work.

Hi James I've worked with Brandon from ESRI case #01943601 and he helped me get to a point where the map appears to be calculating the geopoint properly. I was missing the note field in my survey originally. However it is not holding that location. When I fill out the survey the map moves to the right location but when I submit the survey and then go add the layer to a map, the location for all records is at 0,0 off the coast of Africa. My calculate fields are all accurately populating but the geopoint is not holding its calculation upon submitting. I marked the geopoint question as read only and required. I've tried to calculate the geopoint directly and also just return the value from an addition field. Is there a character limit to the lat and long values? What is the last step here for the map? Also using internet explorer is still an issue, as well as my html being displayed in the form. I didn't mention this earlier but is there a way to get rid of the decimal points in my street list? The form generator seems to automatically add decimals to numbers in the external choice list. It makes picking 6 over 60 a lot harder for users

I changed the quotations in the labels and I still get returned the entire string: Are you referencing the field masks for the phone number fields? Those seemed to have been working ok, but I have removed them now and not seen any difference with other issues. I also think that the issue with the Survey123 form processor extends beyond the concat() function because as in my original form it did not work with the substr() either. Also my select_externals were also not working properly, this may be related. This is why I switched to the pulldata() with a csv and no select_externals sheet to work around this and still it does not work. I havent tested this most recent case with only using the pulldata() and CSV, but the substr() and select_external seem to be working when used with significantly fewer choices at around 400-600 records for the choices. Any more than that and the form is too slow to load\unusable. Since I have 11000+ choices this may be causing issue no form loading in IE and no successful calculations in Chrome or Firefox?

I've gotten rid of any select_external questions and external selects sheet and moved it to a csv in the media folder. It now references fine, however the underlying issues I have been experiencing and still am seem to be more related to the calculations. No matter the different set ups to limit location to known addresses and calculate geopoints, the calculations associated are not working. Either pulldata, external selects, or otherwise. You can see here that it is still unsuccessful at calculating the address or cross referenced calculate field. Again all of these have worked in the form preview in Connect, none have worked in the browser as publicly shared forms. If all these scenarios were solely related to the size of the lists wouldn't have the pulldata function resolved this since it is not being loaded directly into the form but is only being referenced? It seems lists can't be more than about 450 records long according to your sample here James and my trial and errors of shortening the lists until browsers loaded the form.

Are there known limitations to the lists\browsers\geopoints\calculations that I may have missed somewhere? Can you direct me to additional documents, my understanding was I should have been ok in both versions of my xlsx, especially after remodelling from your working example.

I've now modeled my form in light of what you have shown here as working and I am still having difficulties. I upload to AGOL but when I go to "Open in Survey123 web app" it says that there is no csv for the pulldata function. Specifically the error is: FormLogicError: instance "itemsets" does not exist in model. I have deleted the folder and the iteminfo file and republished with the same results. In the Connect for preview everything works fine. Where\how does the csv data get uploaded?

Sure here also is the link to the form https://survey123.arcgis.com/webclient/6635fe7a81034980a5dd3742a5b1d6f7 The autocomplete in mine is for the street input. I reviewed your form and looks like it calculates slightly different format from this blog as well https://community.esri.com/groups/survey123/blog/2016/06/08/calculations-on-geopoints. I might have to be utilizing the pulldata function and rework my lists?

The long-running script error in IE is unrelated to the geopoint calculation and it seems is more related to simply having large choice lists. I truncated much of the lists for testing purposes and it loads very slowly in IE. This is not helpful however because I need all of my original choices. However, I also noticed differences in the way the forms behave in different browsers, for instance autocomplete boxes work in IE while they are not functioning in Chrome. The calculated geopoint still does not work in browsers even when calculating from a list of only 2 options. You cannot submit with a calculated geopoint in publicly shared forms answered in a browser page.

It also appears you cannot calculate a geopoint in the web app either. If we can restrict extent via lat\long that might be a useful work around for limiting locations. View my issue here: IE Browser Compatability and Geopoint Calculation with Public Surveys made in Connect
