We have a Water Pumhouse and Reservoir checklist survey set up in Survey 123. Every 2-3 days, the cheklist is filled up. We'd like to users/reviewers to be able to view that data in a table where the checklist items would be on the left axis while the dates would be at top so data can be compared day-to-day. I have yet to find a way to show all survey days in a tabular format. Survey123 sure does have customizable reports but our users need a single web link that can be accessed or generated at any time which is why it would be great to have on ArcGIS Online or dashboard for ArcGIS. Thanks.

I have a survey as a related table to an hydrant feature. Let's call the Main Feature (Hydrants) Feature 1 and the Survey Table, Table 1. One of the question in the survey is about Paint Condition, I need to create a follow up app (Collector) when Paint is required. I already have items in a table called "Hydrant_Paint_Program" (Table 2) from previous year and that table is currently has a Parent/Child Relationship with "Table 1". How can I get Table 1 to populate Table 2 when the questions "Paint Condition" is set to "Needs Paint"? Any guidance would greatly be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Joe, I'm debugging the script and at the "source" table defining part, I get an error message saying that the 'in_table' is not a table or a featureclass... My table is a feature class inside a GDB (for testing for now), and I've defined it in the workspace at the begining... # use a dictionary to populate a field
import arcpy, time, smtplib, sys, inspect, os
arcpy.env.workspace = r"Y:\Working\TravauxPublics\Branch_Line_Flushing\Script\Hydrants.gdb"
ws = arcpy.env.workspace
tableList = ["Hydrants_1","Hydrants_Branchline_Survey"]
tableFields = ["FHID","GlobalID_1"]
source = {"Hydrants_1"}
#create a dictionary of the {SITEID:SITE_GUID} from source...
guidDict = {r[0]:(r[1:]) for r in arcpy.da.SearchCursor(source,tableFields)}

Thanks a lot for your feedback Lynn / Joe, My initial thought was to create that GUID relationship and go from there but reading your comments made me realize that field workers will keep selecting the HydrantID while surveying, so it really looks like what you did is exactly what I am trying to achieve. I am just starting to use Python scripts and let's say that programming is pet peeve. Joe, in @Richard Fairhurst article, there are multiple sections, which of these script should I start with? Thanks again for your help! I really appreciate it!

I am trying to do something and never thought I would get stuck at the relationship creation level. We've been collecting data with Survey 123 for the past two years (Hydrant Inspection). We now want to "automate" the process so that these inspections gets automatically attached to the corresponding hydrant. My common ID is called FHID (Fire Hydrant ID) in my "survey" table and in the my Fire Hydrant Feature Class. I created a relationship class using FHID as the Primary Key. Once this is complete, I need to convert the relationship to GlobalID so I can create my future surveys based on a feature service. What am I missing to relate already collected data and making the Global ID Relationship so I can survey on top of this survey table in the future?

Hi Craig, There are many scripts on that page but more specifically which script allows you to create assignment (work orders) from collector data? Workflow: Person in the field using collector changes status of priority to "1", then a work order is created in workforce. Thanks.

Hi James, Is this still the case? Geosearch functionality works from web but not from Survey123 mobile client? Thanks.

That's correct Brandon. It wil be done by the collector on the field. So if I understand it correctly I can create a survey from a service, just leave the "status" question to be able to change my y/n status and then add other question not related to my feature service?

Is it possible to not necessarily build a survey on top of a feature service but to change a value of a feature service. For survey tracking purpose we'd like to be able to change a field called "surveyed? (y/n)" so we can visually track progress on a map? Thanks, Kevin

It is our solution for now but we wanted to keep an active link to the DB so we wouldn't have to run the geocoder everytime the DB changes (new valve or change of status).

We have non-spatial data stored on an SQL Server (Backflow Valve w. Adress Location) that we would like to map out for our field users to see (using AGO and Collector). How could we link that data geographically (Map) and keep an active link the the SQL Server to show most current db version?
