We really like the deprecated/authoritative label but feel we could use something in between also, to cover all bases. Not everything is going to be so black and white, there are a lot of in between. Production - where you are building a new feature layer and want other to review what you have for their community and contribute their data also. Draft - Creating a new feature layer and want others to see the schema your creating and want feed back on ideas they may have to improve it. Thanks

When I first ran Repair Geometry it errored out: Error 00381: Utah\Lines is non-editable Failed to execute (repairgeometry) Help for Error 00381 - If you need to run this tool using this dataset, consider converting it to an editable format, such as a geodatabase feature class or shapefile, and using that as input. Ran Check Geometry it completed with no errors, and no problems inside the fabric. Ran Repair Geometry on a exported feature class of lines, it ran fine, completed, no problems or deletions listed and there are still the same amount of lines. So no luck with that.

I am still working on the project area for the Utah PLSS Fabric, we have new survey data for a Sec. 6. I have rebuilt the section all the way down to the Gov. Lots, and it look good. But when I try to do an adjustment using the new survey corners I get a Fail and some strange Adjustment Reports. I have tried to modify my tolerances in the adjustment box to get the Adjustment to work, but still no luck. I have two lines that come back with a distance of -9532.993, I am not sure how I got a negative distance on a line?? I have tried to search for the Lines in the report list and can not find them, search by start and end point, length, and visual. I also have 6 Line Points that "don't lie between line endpoints", very confused by this also. Any one have an idea? I have attached a shot of the area, the Adjustment Report, and a table of the lines I had selected during the adjustment. Thanks

Got some strange results when working in Sec 6 of our project area. I had rebuilt the First and Second Division parcels according to a new BLM survey. I added the provided Control Points and ran an adjustment on the polygons and data in side all the control. When I finished thing look good at first, then I noticed on both sides there were overlaps, Parcel Explorer was not showing any Unjoined Parcels. The two attached jpg's show the areas. One side includes a Township line that I did not segment like the First and Second Div lines, since I was not modifying it. The other side was not changed at all. So why are the Township Parcels and lines not moving with the others in the fabric? Two more shots of some weird shifting on the south line of the township, not sure why these did what they did either. Thin black line is the before position of the lines. Thanks

AGRC is getting ready to load our Utah PLSS Fabric into our SDE, from a local geodatabase. What should my database team know before we start and what are the procedures to do the move? Could not find documentation on ESRI support yet, maybe there is not one, is it more common to build it in the SDE rather than creating it outside then move it? Inquiring minds want to know.

Afternoon We have been looking over the Project areas T22S R1W and found a couple of interesting things we will be dealing with. I have hopefully added a couple of jpg's to view. In Section 7 (Three...jpg) we will have a big shift northward of the bottom line in the section, easy to associate it with the lower point. But no control along the west Township/Section line. In the above Section 6 (Two..jpg) we have points from BLM one of those is the corner point for Sec. 6 100600. This when added as control will not have a point to associate it with. The section line now is following the Gov Lot lines, are those incorrect? In general I would go in and edit the polygons, which would create the needed fabric point, or add the control point and then edit the polygon snapping to the control. Anybody have thought on this?
