For those keeping score, this was implemented in 4.24, a mere 6 years after this post.

I kinda answered it for myself here. I had to get the featurelayer off the jimumapview layerview and then set the layerview.layer.renderer and it worked const viewMgr = MapViewManager.getInstance() const jimuMapView = viewMgr.getJimuMapViewById(viewMgr.getAllJimuMapViewIds()[0]) const featureLayer = jimuMapView.jimuLayerViews[jimuMapView.mapWidgetId + '-' + featureLayerDs.id].layer

I am creating a custom widget for ExB that is based on the filter widget. I'd like to modify the data source (feature layer) used for the filtering and change its renderer, specifically set it to a class breaks renderer with breaks depending on what filtered values they selected. I was able to create the renderer object but when I try to set the FeatureLayer.renderer = render, nothing happens. I assume that is because ExB is getting the renderer from the web map still. I was thinking maybe having to use LayerView but don't see a renderer property on it. Any ideas?

This does not work and is most likely not recommended. There is another post marked as the solution, i.e. use the FQDN instead of localhost when accessing the ExB Dev edition and add that to the list of Allowed Origins in Portal Organization Security settings page

When accessing ExB Developer edition via https://localhost:3001, and entering our ArcGIS Enterprise 10.9.1 address on the page https://localhost:3001/page/set-portalurl , it says "Your application domain is not allowed via Cross-Origin Resource Sharing (CORS) to access" then url of our portal web adaptor. I tried to allow localhost in the Organization > Settings > Security page in the Portal, but it won't let me add it or https://localhost:3001 How do we use ExB Dev with our Enterprise server? I can only get it to work with AGOL.

The March 2022 release of the SceneViewer in AGOL supports voxel layers. How do we get that SceneViewer in our Enterprise 10.9.1. We can publish voxel layers there but can't use them with the SceneViewer that is included with 10.9.1.

Is AGOL required in order to use the Hydrology analysis tools in your Portal via the map viewer classic as of 10.9.1? We would like to avoid using credits and host the service ourselves. What other analysis tools are currently like this for portal?

We decided to start fresh with the 9.1 release, and it works. We have anonymous IIS access on the DMZ web adaptor and windows authentication with automatic account creation on the internal web adaptor. I'm leaning towards naming and DNS issues being to blame, or having different IIS on the DMZ and internal web adaptor servers initially when we tried with 9.0

Here is the list of requests from the viewer.html. When clicking on any of the 403 resources, they appear a new browser tab so they can be accessed. I'm not sure what headers can be added and to which IIS (DMZ or internal). .

Any chance this is related to compression? I assume since I have Esri web adaptors on the DMZ and internal IIS that it would handle such things, but I'm wondering if I need to make some changes in IIS

We were able to sign in through the DMZ firewall with Field Maps. However, we still get 403 errors when accessing the enterprise site through the DMZ in a browser. I tried going to /arcgis/home/webmap/viewer.html and it loads, but several css and js files it uses are throwing 403 errors and the browser is empty. I feel we have to be close to getting this working

Thanks. We saw that article, but still have the specific question if it is possible to have one web adaptor using Windows Authentication for the IIS website inside the firewall and portal configured to use Windows identity store, and the other in the DMZ using anonymous authentication in IIS.
