Thanks BarryNorthey. I tried those but I don't get the outcome I need. I wasn't able to get a one to many, even in the same geodatabase. The thing is, I have a Model Builder with the Join Features (GeoAnalytics) tool and it produced exactly what I needed. That data was then published to AGOL and has worked wonderfully for the public to view. Now, a few months later with a new updated join table, I ran the Models and I get the huge text lengths.

Good morning I am trying to join a polygon feature class to a standalone table. Both objects are within a file geodatabase. Using ArcGIS Pro 3.0.2. Using GeoAnalystics Join Features tool, my target layer is a polygon layer with a text field length of 50. The join table also has the same text field length of 50. I'm executing a one-to-many join operation. The issue is the output object turns all text fields into a length text field of 1,048,758. This seems like a relatively simple operation. I've tried this in SQL and the local GDB. I've cut out all fields to just the Join fields to try and isolate any other issues, and I always get the same result. Why is this happening and how can I prevent it? I'm including screenshots to help illustrate the issue. Help me ESRI Community, you're my only Hope! (Happy May 4th!!)

Hello all I'm building my first ExB application in ArcGIS Online. I have a very simple project: search a table for names. Trouble is the Suggestions list doesn't ever go away after typing a name and hitting Enter. It persists on top of the Search results. This is a related table to a feature layer for what it's worth. Is this a known bug or is there a setting I'm missing? Bonus question: why doesn't the Search results show the number of returned records? Thanks in advance

Like many of you, I too have many field crews using Android devices getting this error related to the World Topo basemap. I get asked nearly every day when a fix is coming. I don't think my crews realize this is not a problem I can fix, it's on ESRI to resolve. After reading this has been ongoing since September, I will also submit a help ticket.

Hi all, I found this post and wanted to add I was having the same issues as Shuhong, but when I downloaded and ran the MS Redistributable drivers, it did not solve anything. ArcCatalog and ArcMap still will not allow me to see MX Excel 2016 xlxs worksheets.

Overall, I would agree. It is nice knowing the field properties in the attributes pane especially if you're not the one who created the data to begin with. But I don't like the hovering where it obscures the fields and attributes. I'm not in front of ArcGIS Pro or Desktop at the moment, but it would be nice if that smaller properties window was affixed to the bottom of the attributes pane and then an option to resize the window down to hide/show it was available. Or, a check option from the top of the attributes pane itself.

I'm wondering if it's possible to turn off the small pop-up window when hovering over the Attributes Pane. It's quite distracting.

Is there a means of altering the default ArcGIS Pro application font size? Not labels or annotation pertaining to GIS data, I'm referring to making changes to the software preferences? And since I'm on the subject, and Attribute Table preferences be kept for all of my ArcGIS Pro projects? Such as all tables by default open at 75% zoom factor?

I've changed the line symbology in ArcGIS Online from the default to a simple hatch line from the available drop down options within ArcGIS Online. The symbols change, and look fine within AGO in a web browser. However, they linework doesn't show as hatched in Explorer for Android. Are their drawing limitations within Explorer? For some context, I've uploaded Hydrants to AGO using the ArcMap Desktop symbol of a hydrant, and those draw without issues. So I'm rather surprised Explorer can't draw simple line hatching that are even available in AGO itself. Thanks in advance....

Hi all We have a series of Google Slate tablets that run Chrome OS and Android OS apps in the same environment. We are using the Explorer app on the Slate and it works pretty well. However, after some time all the maps disappear. Basically the only thing we can see is who's logged in and some settings. I have to manually clear the app's cache, which hangs around 1.6 Gb, before we see the maps again. I have 2 questions: First, is 1.6 Gb of cache data considered a lot? The guys are using the aerial basemap features, if that makes a difference. Second, is there a scheduled clear cache functionality Explorer should be using? Otherwise, I'll have to ask my guys to occasionally clear the cache manually. Thanks in advance

Kylie If I use the Manage New Features to remove templates, when I click Save, does that change the feature layer across all Map Files that contain that feature layer?

In ArcGIS Online, I actually did 2 things: 1) I used a filter to only see the 6 items I need to see. 2) In Change Style>Unique Symbols, I moved the unwanted symbols down to the bottom. When I click Edit, I only see the 6 I want to see. I have since learned it doesn't matter if I use the filter, it's more reliant on the Unique Symbols. Then I clicked Manage, and it's still only the 6 I need to see. In Collector, all 37 symbols are there. But I do see what you're saying. I forgot I could use the Manage, since it's at the bottom and a very light gray. It kinda goes unnoticed down there. I think what you're saying is to use the Manger New Features instead of using Unique Symbols and dragging them down. I'll give that a try..

Hello all, I'm creating a simple app for our communities Earth Day/Arbor Day. I uploaded our existing data containing tree species in a domain to ArcGIS Online. The domain of species is about 37 species. However, this year we're only giving away 6 of those 37 species. In ArcGIS Online, I used the Types (Unique Symbols) style and dragged all but the 6 to the bottom under the Other style category, essentially 'hiding' them in the Content view (see attachment). It works great. So when I Edit, in ArcGIS Online, I only see those 6 tree species. Additionally, in the layer filter, I used a set of expressions to isolate those 6 tree species. However, in Collector I get the entire list of tree species from the hosted domain. Why doesn't Collector honor the same symbology filter when collecting a point feature? My attached screen cap shows ArcGIS Online vs Collector (outlined in red).

We purchased ArcGIS Pro 2.x Cookbook, by Tripp Corbin, GISP. It's an easy follow. I'm a 20 year GIS user, so I can almost go thru it without going thru the motions. But I am, trying to learn new muscle memory.
