I have created a number of surveys with no issue on any device. These surveys were relatively simple in their layout. Though, recently I begin incorporating cascading and external selects in my newest surveys. I added 4 external selects where each choice list was filtered from the previous question. This was running nicely on all Android devices with no issues and with varying results on a variety of iOS devices. The issues started to really hinder the use of the survey when I added a fifth external select. The survey would run flawlessly on Android, iPad, and an iPhone 5 though for some reason it just would not take on iPhone 6. It would not show filter selection choices past a certain number of questions and the form could not be continued. Some functionality was restored when the form was saved as a draft and reopened. I have also noticed some other issues with iOS devices and iPhone 6, in particular. When a survey is saved as a draft and then reopened for editing the bottom part of the form is displyed over the beginning or top of the form. Anyone else experienceing these issues? I really need to make these surveys available, but in their current state they are unusable. If an ESRI rep would like to look at the form(s) for testing I can make them available, though cannot share publicly. Thanks for any help, Chris

Try adding urn:ietf:wg:oauth:2.0:oob in the Redirect URI's: field in your App Registration details for the app in AGOL.

Initially when I launched the Survey123 template from AppStudio I received a "Invalid client_id" error message (Error 400). I found this github article that I thought would provide me with the solution - though another error surfaced: Configuration for Launching Survey123 from AppStudio (invalid client_id) · Issue #401 · Esri/Survey123Community · GitHub After reading this article I registered my app to create a client_id, entered/applied that ID in the advanced settings of the app in AppStudio and launched the app again. Now, I don't receive the client_id error messages, but I do get a "Invalid redirect_uri" error message. I am not exactly sure what this is (other then something to do with OAuth) , but can tell you that this blank in the App Registration details in my AGOL account. I was hoping someone could help me to determine how I come up with a redirect uri FYI: I was planning on having users sign in to this branded, Survey123 app with our AGOL account and not P.ortal. Thanks in advance for any advice you could send my way to move forward! Chris

Thanks for the quick response Gary. I hadn't even heard of the Geoevent extension until you mentioned it. I am looking into its capabilities now and will surely mark this as answered when I finish researching it and confirm. Are you also using it to update a PODS db? Thanks Again!

I thought I remember reading that Survey123 could send SMS messages. I am trying to send an email or SMS notifications to managers after surveys have been submitted by field crews. Is this possible with Survey123? Or could I edit the Survey123 Template in AppStudio to accomplish this? Chris
