I am intending to download ESRI Bump Map Tools from the provided link referred below; https://blogs.esri.com/esri/arcgis/2010/01/21/introducing-the-arcgis-bump-map-tools/#comment-12482 But, didn't found any working link from where I can download these tools. I will be highly appreciable if anybody could let me know the download link and also enlighten me whether these tools can be used with ArcGIS 10.5 installed on my system?

I am interested to simulate and calculate area which is likely to be submerged by construction of a proposed dam on a river. The location (lat, long) and proposed height of the proposed dam on a river are already known. I have SRTM DEM 1 ArcSec as well. The resultant submerged area is required to be calculated and shown on high resolution satellite image or Google Earth. Is it possible to do this in ArcScene or suggest me any other software which is meant for the purpose.

Dear Adrian, I simply converted my polygon (Raster Domain) to polylines using 'Polygon to Line' tool available in Data Management toolbox 2. In polyline properties, check 'extrude features' and set 'using it as a value that features are extruded to' 3. in the Base Heights Tab, set base height 'floating on a custom surface' and choose the DEM as input I have inserted following scree shots also that would help you to do the job.

Hi, I am intending to extrude my polygon as though it is the surface itself lifted up and achieve visualization like block diagram. The objective is to achieve the final results as below (this one has been created by Aileen Buckley, she is an expert Cartographer at ESRI. My inserted rasters are already having projected coordinate system and I have floated my Landslide Susceptibility raster over the DEM in ArcScene 10.3. However, results are inserted as below, surely not acceptable. What might be the root cause of the problem and how would I solve it?

I have developed a landslide susceptibility zonation model using Fuzzy Logic, AHP and Weighted Linear Combination in IDRISI Selva 17.0 and inserted the product in ArcGIS 10.3. My Susceptibility Index (Raster Pixel Range) is 0-255. Now, in order to validate my model I am intending to prepare the 'Success Rate Curve' as below. Please note that I have already collected the locations where there is landslide present in the study area. How would I prepare this curve in ArcGIS 10.3 that currently I am using or preferably in any other GIS Package including IDRISI Selva 17.0?

Jayanta Poddar, I have strictly followed the instructions to execute the expression you have provided but It didn't changed the settings automatically. I am not sure what went wrong. I am using ArcGIS 10.3 installed on C:\Program Files (x86)\ArcGIS. However, I am thankful for the anticipation and your time.

Dan Patterson I have resolved this problem by modifying above expression; Ln(("Flow_acc"+ 1 ) * 30/"Tan_SlopeRad") Wherein, earlier I used Cell area 900(30x30) There was nothing wrong with the Process Flow Diagram inserted above, however, I removed the 'Sinks' from the flow direction raster. Interestingly, it was earlier pre-processed and all depression were removed by 'Filling' these imperfections. However, now there are no anomalies in the derived raster and no cells contain 'No Data' values. I checked my results using WhiteBox with similiar algorithms used by ArcGIS (D8 method) and results were almost similar. Below is the results of TWI from ArcGIS , and here are the results from WhiteBox using similar algorithms (method)

and also look at this one, I have derived TWI in WhiteBox and if I drap it over 3D view, it would make more convenient to analyse it there rather to insert hillshade only.

and this one I have prepared in Surfer due to nonavailability of said facilities in ArcScene. The scalebar and color ramps, X and Y axis label etc really make difference.
