Hello All, I have a CSV table with coordinate strings describing polygons. Is there a straightforward way of converting this table into a feature class? ArcMap provides a tool called Convert Coordinate Notation which does not appear to produce the result required. Attached is a sample of the data. Coordinates are projected in Map Grid of Australia (MGA) Zone 55 [EPSG 28355]. Thanks Nevin

Hi Scott, Thanks for getting back to me. Are there any plans for this to change in the near future? And is there a development roadmap that you might be able to share for ArcGIS Map integration? It would be great to know what this would look like. Nevin

Hi Scott, I'm trying to load my own AGOL basemap but only the image in my basemap appears in the visualisation window of Power BI. The basemap is a web map I created in AGOL, and as well as the standard Esri imagery, contains a number of hosted feature layers (vector layers). Is there something I need to do at the AGOL end to ensure that the basemap displays in its entirety, or is a 'multi-layered' basemap not supported in the current ArcGIS integration with Power BI? Thanks Nevin

There are approx 200 images (less than 1MB in size) in JPG and BMP format. They are non-georeferenced, site photos I would like AGOL to host the images so that I can invoke them using URLs in pop-ups in my web app. Once I have the URL for each image, I store them in a CSV, TXT or other similar file, so that I can join this to an existing feature class in ArcMap prior to publishing as a feature service to AGOL. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks Nevin

We have an existing schematic diagram of a rail network which has been generated from a geometric network. A layout algorithm was applied and then manual editing of schematic features to produce the schematic diagram geometry required. The schematic needs to replicate an existing geoschematic that was developed in Microstation. How do I go about adding data (in a GIS feature class) to the existing schematic diagram without having to generate the diagram again from scratch? Is that possible? The concept is to be able to add operational layers (typically points such as track faults, asset locations and emergency incidents) as a required to a base map (schematic diagram of the rail network).

Hello There, I am currently having an issue propagating a feature class (Test_4) to a schematic feature class in an existing schematic dataset (MTM_Schematic_20160729). See screenshot below. These geodatabases are also attached. I have attempted this using both Import from Feature Layers and Import from Feature Classes/Tables in the Schematic Dataset Editor (see further screenshot below). I have also attempted to Append new feature to active diagram by right clicking on the schematic dataset and using Update Diagram. In this case, I created a Geometric Network based on the Test_4 feature class and selected all features. These features are depicted in green below against the rail world representation of the rail network and should be ‘transposed’ to the adjacent schematic rail line (see below again). Feel free to get back to me for more information. Thanks for your help. Nevin Wilson

Hi Adrian, Thanks for your response. There are two aspects to what I am doing: (1) the information I'm presenting is confidential and I can't make it available to the public. I think if I was to create simple web applications (as per your examples) I would need to Share it as public? (2) if I make it private, then I need to provide login credentials. I'm currently the only named user/member as well as the administrator, so users would be using my credentials to login to the site but this will also give them administrator privileges. For example, if they truncated the URL I sent them to the "root path" they would be able to access the My Content and My Organization sections of the subscription - where they could easily make changes. I'm thinking that I may need to purchase additional members/named users, set up roles and groups with restricted privileges and then provide relevant login credentials? Nevin

I would like to provide a URL to a web mapping app to colleagues within my business. I would like users to merely view and interact with the app itself and be able to do nothing else. This is a Private site (as it contains some confidential information) and I have not shared it as Public. At the moment, I have been providing my own login credentials (as the Administrator) to access the app. However, I do not want any users to access the content in the root of the URL i.e. http://joebloggs999.maps.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=2f19c3d25be430a2b7c13533675fb46a where they can truncate the URL i.e. http://joebloggs999.maps.arcgis.com/ and then access the home page of my organization. (Please note that these are only dummy URLs) I would also prefer not to add Members to My Organization (in order to constrain privileges). Is there a way to create a URL which provides view only access? Any help would be much appreciated. Nevin

Hello All, I'd appreciate your advice. How do I go about importing a string of coordinate pairs stored in a single cell of an Excel table into ArcMap? These may be a single coordinate pair (point), string of coordinate pairs where the first and last pair are the same (polygon) or different (polyline). See screenshot below. Thanks for your help.
