Hello, could you find out anything? Currently I am using a third party library for projecting. This is definitely a bug. Is it possible to force the runtime using the transformation? This would help me. Cheers Oli

Hi, it's prettey hard to reproduce this crash for us. Is there any built-in logging or debug option in the runtime? Some information e.g. which method called before the crash or something would help us a lot to reproduce the problem. If I can reproduce the bug it's possible to answer your other questions Bye Oli

Hi, we had several app crashes caused by ArcGIS Runtime in the last time. How is it possible that the runtime fails without throwing an exception? Is there any workarround or something else to prevent an error in the runtime kills the whole proccess? Additionally it's very hard to debug this kind of errors, because the runtime crashes partly don't appear in debugging mode. Windows event viewer: Module: RuntimeCoreNETDesktop.dll, Version: 10.2.6.1026, Zeitstempel: 0x559db4d8 Exception code: 0x4000001f Offstet: 0x000e0196 Process ID: 0x170c Path to failed Module: c:\...\arcgisruntime10.2.6\client32\RuntimeCoreNETDesktop.dll Do you have any idea to handle this problem? Thanky! Bye

Hello Mike, Both apps are running on the same machine. I only changed the runtime Version for investigating the false map placement. My System is a Windows 7 x64. We are using Visuals Studio 2012 for developing. It's definitely the different version of the runtime. My example from above: var mappoint = new MapPoint(4594314.825,5821864.005, new SpatialReference(31468)); var projectedMappoint = GeometryEngine.Project(mappoint, new SpatialReference(4326)); await _MapView.SetViewAsync(mappoint, 2000); This code snippet should be enough to reproduce the differnt results. The differences are only a few hundred meters. Cheers Oliver

Hello, I recently updated our runtime Version from 10.2.4 to 10.2.6. Now there is a incorrect projection from EPSG:31468 to EPSG:4326. Example: var mappoint = new MapPoint(4594314.825,5821864.005, new SpatialReference(31468)); var projectedMappoint = GeometryEngine.Project(mappoint, new SpatialReference(4326)); Result 10.2.4: var mappoint = {MapPoint[X=4594314.825, Y=5821864.005, Wkid=31468]} var projectedMappoint = {MapPoint[X=13.3880091660746, Y=52.5217421380065, Wkid=4326]} Results 10.2.6 & 10.2.7: var mappoint = {MapPoint[X=4594314.825, Y=5821864.005, Wkid=31468]} var projectedMappoint = {MapPoint[X=13.3897513416898, Y=52.5231506263074, Wkid=4326]} I doublechecked the result on different websites and my results is, the calculation in the new version is not correct any more. Can anybody please check this for me or give me a hint, where I can open a support ticket. Thanks a lot!

Thank you! This is an very interesting example, but we are using ArcGIS runtime for .NET. I worked with Antti's approach. My Code is: var color = Color.FromArgb(150,140,235,240); var selectionColor = new SimpleFillSymbol { Color = color }; var selectedPolygon = GeodatabaseFeature.AsGraphic(); selectedPolygon.Symbol = selectionColor; _MapView.GraphicsOverlays[PolygonGraphicsOverlayKey].Graphics.Add(selectedPolygon); At my clearSelection method I clear the PolygonGraphicsOverlay as well. This works very good for me.

Hi Antti, thanks for your response. Taking the geometry and creating a graphic out of it, is an good approach. I'll try this.

Hi all, how can I fill the whole polygone after selecting it on a featureLayer? FeatureLayer supports only to highlight the lines of the polygon by default. In ArcMap it is possible to set a selection symbol, which allows to color the included area. Do anybody have an idea to solve this? Thank you guys!

Hi there, how can I change zoom factor of the MapView. The default zoom factor for the build-in zoom functionality is 2. Our customer claims that the zoom speed is to high. Is their any attribute, which can be set to change the zoom factor? Thanks!!

Dear Community, I query the featureTable of my Layer and after calling the QueryAsync(IEnumerable<Int64>) the querried feratures disappear from the map. The result from the querry is correct and everything else is working fine. I have no idea how a querry can cause such a problem. Did anybody of you ever hear about this and have any solutin for me? This is the exact line which cause the problem. rowIds is a long array. IEnumerable<GeodatabaseFeature> myGeoDatabaseFeature = (IEnumerable<GeodatabaseFeature>)await featureLayer.FeatureTable.QueryAsync(rowIds); Thank you!
