Hi Andrea We've been seeing this error several times now when upgrading ArcGIS Enterprise towards version 10.7 or 10.8. We never saw this behavior in the past. We found a workaround however: before you start the upgrade, change the security properties of C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Portal, C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Server, C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\DataStore, C:\arcgisdatastore, C:\arcgisportal, C:\arcgisserver, C:\Python27 and give 'Everyone' full control on these folders. Some things seem to go wrong with the permissions on the folders when upgrading, especially with older installations which had several upgrades in the past. No need to run the webgis DR tool and restore everything on a new environment. Best regards Philippe

However, I don't have a 'kml' folder, but I will try your workaround Just one question about the workflow that fixed it: when you say "run the setup again": do you mean running again the Portal for ArcGIS installer? Hi all, When trying to register an OAM IDP with Portal for ArcGIS 10.7 through a metadata.xml file, I get the following error: "Unable to register identity provider. Unable to register idp 'test' for account '0123456789ABCDEF', 'Invalid user license type.'. " Nothing to see in the Portal logs. There's nothing wrong with the metadata.xml file, because importing the same file in Portal 10.6.1 works fine. I also tried to use an URL to provide the metadata of the IDP but I get the same error. Hi Devon, I tried you suggestion and it works fine! However, I have two more questions. 1) When you launch Survey123 from the app launcher, it appears that you're not signed in automatically with your Portal named user. You still have to click 'Sign In' and then click the 'Approve' button. Is it not possible to sign in automatically? 2) At the top of the web page you see a message about being in dev mode (due to the portalUrl parameter I guess?) Is it possible to hide this message (whitout losing the connection between Survey123 and your Portal)? Best regards, Philippe

Hi folks! Does anyone know whether Insights for ArcGIS can work with SQL Server Express? According to the help page Supported databases—Insights reference | ArcGIS only the standard and enterprise editions of SQL Server seem to be supported. However, some reactions in the following thread seem to suggest that Insights can also work with the express edition:Insights for ArcGIS SQL server database limitation Does anyone has experience in using Insights in combination with SQL Server Express? Hi Dan, Yeah, I've tried your suggestion earlier. Indeed, when you add an extra field and populate this with low values close to zero (e.g. 0.001), and you add that field as a third bar/column on your map (with No Color for Outline Color and Fill Color), then everything looks fine. However, shouldn't there be a cleaner solution for this problem than this workaround? Kind regards, Philippe

Dear all, I encountered an annoying problem in ArcMap when using bar/column charts. When I use multiple bars/columns (2 bars/columns actually) and both represent negative values, no bars/columns appear on the map. However, when both values are positive or when I have one positive value and one negative value everything looks fine. I attached a screenshot to illustrate my problem. The selected feature has 2 negative values and no columns appear??? What can be the reason and how should I solve this problem? Any help will be much appreciated! Kind regards, Philippe
