Does the LocalLayer widget work with WAB 2.3? I configured it and can add layers but the OK, Cancel, and X button do not do anything - when clicked on, nothing happens. Thank you, Renee

This was the problem, I thought the feature layer was already shared and what threw me off is that others were able to see the map/layers but they were also Administrators and the one user who could not was a Publisher. I would think that if the feature layer was not shared then no one could see the map/layers, including Admins. However, THANK YOU !!!

yes, I already have a group created and the Publisher is part of this group and the map(s) are shared with the group. I changed the privileges from "Publisher" to "Administrator" and now they're able to see the map and layers but they should be able to as "User" or "Publisher" as well from what I assume.

I have several maps published to Collector and several users with different logins are able to see the maps with all of the layers and able to check them on and off, however, I have one user that cannot view the layers nor check them on in the layer list. I'm assuming it's not an issue with the maps since other users can see them? The only difference I see is that this one user is a "Publisher" and not an "Administrator". I would assume "Users" and "Publishers" should also be able to see the layers and not just "Administrators"?

Any input on which would be better to use, Survey123 or Collector to track USA tickets? It's more for info gathering about USA ticket markings rather then assigning to a field staff so Workforce wouldn't work. (there's only two of us and we assign the tickets ourselves)

Interesting...I tried the SNAP yesterday and got an "ERROR 000800 The value is not a member of END I VERTEX I EDGE" so I thought it wouldn't work. I went ahead and filled in the TYPE and DISTANCE and ran the tool anyway and it seemed to work...don't know why the "ERROR" message was shown. Thank you !

I did create a geometric network, but needed to snap valves automatically instead of one by one and I was trying to do this inside SQL Server rather then having to export to geodatabase for the network.

I would like to check if my valves are snapped to pipes in my SQL Server database w/o having to export to geodatabase, create topology and check that way and also move any valves within a certain tolerance to snap to the pipe without having to do them individually.

Is there a way to check if points are snapped to lines without having to export to geodatabase then creating a topology? Also, bulk snap these points?

Can anyone explain why I would use Subtypes as opposed to just have a symbology Representation set? I understand Subtypes categorize the data so when brought into a Map, it is represented as unique values according to the subtyped field but seems like Representations do the same thing?

I recently inherited mapping sewer overflows in hopes of identifying where to send inspectors to restaurants and other FOG (Food, Oil, Grease) locations for inspection. The person who did this previously identified all the sewer segments with incidents of 1 or greater, isolated just those segments, found the midpoint, and then did a count field (some segments have multiple incidents). He then used Kernel Density to come up with a raster image but in running the Hot Spot Analysis, and showing the incident count numbers on each sewer line, the resulting raster doesn't match up. What I think is needed is 1) clustering of sewer incidents and 2) problem areas - sewers sections that have had multiple sewer incidents. Would this be two different analysis? The result would be a map showing the areas of concern and then a spatial query of FOG areas to send our inspectors out. Any help/suggestions appreciated, I've been reading and watching the tutorials but am a bit confused as to what to use or to combine analysis. (I'm just getting back to using ArcGIS after using GeoMedia for the last 9 years) Renee

I've imported my .mxd with the map view and my Content menu is not showing up like in the online videos. How can I get this to show up? Also the appearance of my legend changed when my .mxd was imported to ArcGIS Pro, is this a bug? ~Renee
