Hi Kylie, I have added Collector4ArcGIS to a group with a map and one of the layers which causes the error 500: Unable to create replica. Please check your paramaters. Create replica internal error. Theodore Simons is also working on this from the ESRI support side.

I am getting this same error Emily, and I've narrowed it down to a few specific layers. These layers do not have Z or M values, Versioning and Archiving are disabled, and they were published from Survey123 Connect when creating a survey. I've tried re-publishing, putting them in new maps and every time the offline download fails. None of the other help threads on geonet have helped either, I've tried enabling/disabling offline on the map, adding a feature and attachment and re-saving, enabling/disabling sync on the specific layer... I have a support ticket open with Esri as well. Did you figure this issue out? Russell Roberts Miaogeng Zhang Kylie Donia #collector aurora #failed replication

It still seems that this has not been implemented 4 months later, I choose an existing TPK and still download a map extent using the online base map.

I am following the instructions here: http://doc.arcgis.com/en/survey123/desktop/create-surveys/preparebasemaps.htm The survey has been published, but when I open my MySurvey.info, everything is null, unlike the example in the link above. I am trying to have the form download the tile package from AGOL, rather than dropping the .TPK into every form and increasing the upload and download times significantly. When I add the additional JSON to the MySurvey.info it doesn't download the TPK. Is there part of the MySurvey.info that I can modify so that I just add the basemap to one survey, and then additional surveys downloaded to that device will have that basemap as an option? Right now that does not happen, although the documentation says that append, includeLibrary, and storeInMapLibrary are true by default.

Hi Jake, can I send you in a PM? Unfortunately our portal requires login and accounts are generated through Active Directory. I have also tried with the token that the REST directory creates when I access this layer appended to the URL above but no luck with that either. Have you confirmed this script will work with hosted layers on Portal?

Thank you for this tool Jake, I am having issues running it in Pro on a hosted feature service. It is always having an error looking for token, but I have been instructed we should not need tokens. I've tried all the settings available and cannot get the script to access the layer and write the attachment location to the Picture field. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,'Rob

Also seeing this issue on Android Collector version 10.3.7 build 1018. Server version 10.3.0 build 4322. With geometry edits disabled, I was not able to sync changes, "Sync Error: An error occurred while Sycnhronizing Edits" but when geometry updates are enabled, the sync works and goes to the server, but the error still pops up on Collector.

Funny, I went through a similar situation of chasing bugs and re-publishing different services last year which was finally resolved with the same solution Janice. Hopefully people find these posts and save time, seems like it should be an earlier troubleshooting step in the ESRI ArcGIS Collector handbook! Below is the step by step solution: These are the instructions that ESRI provided on changing the uploadreadaheadsize: Launch “Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager” Select the site that you are hosting your web application under it. In the Features section, double click “Configuration Editor” Under “Section” select: system.webServer ,then select serverRuntime 5. Modify the “uploadReadAheadSize” section to be like 20MB (the value there is in Bytes) 6. Click Apply this is happening as during renegotiation step; Hopefully this helps others! And this is the similar thread: Offline works in ios but not android

Have you tried File>Share As>Tile Package? You can choose to save it to disk from there rather than upload to AGOL. You don't get the Environment settings like you would with the exportTileCache though. Also make sure that in Customize>ArcMap Options>Sharing Tab that you have Enabled ArcGIS Runtime Tools for that option to appear in the Share As menu.

Changing IIS settings will only apply if you host your own content on ArcGIS Server Tony, I'm not sure why features would not be syncing if they are hosted.

After working with ESRI support for a couple weeks on this Android not syncing issue, I think we have it solved. The solution for us was changing the uploadReadAheadSize value in IIS. We previously had a fairly small value, and we bumped it up to our maximum allowable value of 2147483647.

Charles Dawley Did you ever sort out why this works on iOS and not Android? Jeff Shaner Russell Roberts Can you guys provide any insight? I am having similar issues with syncing errors on Android, but not with iOS. I can see the map, download it, add a feature, and see it "stored on device." Then I am getting this error when I try to sync: "An error occurred while synchronizing edits" Only trying to sync 1 point, with a field 'Number' and a field 'Text'. Syncs no problem with iPad running ArcGIS Collector (10.2.5) Have tried syncing with Android 5.0, 4.1.2, 4.2.2. LTE and WiFi. Android Collector Versions 10.2.7 and 10.2.6. We used to be able to sync without a problem, no idea what the issue is now.
