@ThomasHamill I talked one of our wetland folks into entering semi-realistic data into your form. She said it met all her needs for a digital form, and would be interested to see what an output would look like. That being said, we are in the midwest region so I would imagine the input is the same, but the indicators that are output from the USACE form would be different. Based on your mention of the XLSForm design, I guess you built it on the desktop interface? And what kind of challenges are you running into for the report template?

I tried to go through the form, and I got the error message shown below. I want to pass it on to our wetlands specialists to see what they think of it, since their feedback will ultimately be more helpful than mine. I'd be interested to see what the data output looks like though since at this moment they are pretty comfortable filling in the Excel form this project is sourced from. I want to try to combine that step though since they seem to double their effort by filling this form out twice.

I see this has been quiet for a while, but I am also attempting to work on this. How do all the look ups work for plants, soil types, etc? The form I am working from has a lot of other information that autofills based on field responses, but I'm not sure how to make that work with a MS Word report template. Look forward to hearing how you got past that.

I have recently had some success with this method (it gets rid of the grey lines anyway). I found that the DPI and Quality can be set to where ever (within reason as far as file size is concerned) as long as I have the "Output as Image" box checked. Maybe this only works on the deflate setting in the Export Options - truth be told, I'm afraid to change it now in case it goes back to making the lines again. The major downside to this is that the pdf output won't have editable text or be searchable. Hope that helps.

This is also happening to one of our users but not the others. We are using 2.2 here, is there any idea about an actual solution rather than the workaround? I know restarting Pro seems to temporarily fix this problem, but I am looking for a real solution.

Since this is an ESRI product, why cant I import shapefiles or feature classes from a .gdb as ground control points? I think this would be by far the simplest way to incorporate GCPs - it would remove the formatting issues and column assignment of .csv files and allow a more streamlined, integrated product.
