I am good with coding, so actual export will not be a problem for me. But how to get hold on the actual raw frame data? It would be easy for me, if I could see source file of a arcpy.mapping.ExportToPNG function. Its likely it gets access on the frame image data, properly transformed with all coordinates and e.t.c, and then goes on with saving it. But that is what I can not find anywhere.

Hi! Is there any way (at least theoretically, using python) to export 16bit float image instead of typical 8bit png raster? Right now I am using this to export: mxd = arcpy.mapping.MapDocument("CURRENT") df = arcpy.mapping.ListDataFrames(mxd)[0] for pageNum in range(1, mxd.dataDrivenPages.pageCount + 1): mxd.dataDrivenPages.currentPageID = pageNum arcpy.mapping.ExportToPNG (mxd, r"D:\mosaicrasterdata\FinalExport" + str(mxd.dataDrivenPages.pageRow.Name) + ".png", df,10016,10016,1210, 100, True) del mxd but none of the exportToPNG or exportToTIFF has options to deal with 16bit or 32 bit files, selection is only limited to: 24-BIT_TRUE_COLOR —24-bit true color 8-BIT_PALETTE —8-bit palette 8-BIT_GRAYSCALE —8-bit grayscale 1-BIT_MONOCHROME_MASK —1-bit monochrome mask 1-BIT_MONOCHROME_THRESHOLD —1-bit monochrome threshold Maybe I can somehow obtain that layour image bit data manually and save it to file myself?

I tired using this code to export: mxd = arcpy.mapping.MapDocument("CURRENT") for pageNum in range(7014, 7016): mxd.dataDrivenPages.currentPageID = pageNum arcpy.mapping.ExportToJPEG(mxd, r"C:\Temp\ParcelAtlas_Page" + str(pageNum) + ".jpg", '', 10000, 10000, 1000) del mxd But that is crazy, final result comes up in random sizes with white marghin around the map, I noticed that for some reason 'Page and Print Setup' influences how the final image looks, but it has no suqre options, only stuff like A4/A5 paper. Did I forgot some important step before enabling data driven, to make sure it properly renders all pages as squares? I need to render every page at 1:1890 resolution, which is its original

Hi! Does any know know good tutorial for exporting map as tiles? I can not find any, and I have problems. I assume the only way to do so is to use Data Driven Pages. I have 3 layers on the map, and I want to export each on as large 10000x10000 tiles. One of the layers is dem map which uses 32bit float, and for Data Drive Pages all I can export are 8bit images. Is data driven pages really the only way to export map layers as large tiles?

Hi! I have raster mosaic dataset in one layer, which consists of many images (tiles); On top of it, I have shapefile, which I am rendering using Symbology->Categories->Unique Values with different colors; Now, I want to export my shapefile layer to raster image tiles, to match it with raster mosaic database as raster data, not vector anymore. Each raster image resolution is 10000x10000, and I want to export vector layer tiles at the same one, to have perfect match. How to do this? Firstly I thought to convert vector data to raster. But then how can I create mosaic database later from it? Seems confusing. Also, when I actually tried doing so, my resulting raster image was one full solid color, not the multicolor display I get from using Symbology->Categories->Unique Values; Can anyone provide any advice on this? Basically, I have shapefile overlayed on top of ratser mosaic database, and want to export them as raster image tiles seperately, one tile set for raster images, one set for vector images. Thanks!

Yeah, I'll probably just look for other solution to my original problem, then, as weeks of calculations are not going to work here. Thanks everyone for getting back!

I see, basically I am screwed up if I want to perform any huge computation. Or, I need to somehow perform it step by step, on every raster image of whole mosaic databse, saving in-between, hm...

I think that just saves samples settings, that is not a problem, as I can save whole project with all settings and samples in ArcGis Pro. But once I start calculations, I am talking about those calculations - like, if "Generating Segmented Dataset is 45% complete" to come back later and pick up from 45%, not 0%

Hi! I am testing image classification wizard now, and I can see, that processing my whole raster image mosaic database could take up to a week. If system crash during that time, I guess I'll need to start processing from the scratch? Is there any correct workflow/settings to account for such scenario? Thanks!
