Hi Allison, Here is our historical results map gallery. The gallery is a configuration modeled after your team's solution. Thanks for that. The election results app is hosted on our server locally because I made the modifications mentioned above. The map gallery just points to the same application for each election, but each time with a different config file in the query string.

I've made some updates to the related tables widget to customize the Election Results app created by the Local Gov Group. Works great, but somehow I've introduced an issue where the widget contents won't resize when the widget is maximized (If I close the widget and open it maximized, it works correctly) This problem only seems to happen on iPhones (6 and 5 tested) and occurs in both Safari and Chrome. If you are willing to take a look, please do: http://gis.nevcounty.net/test/testelectionresults/ Otherwise, any troubleshooting suggestions are welcome. I'm proficient at stepping through JavaScript and debugging, but this sort of issue when it only happens on a particular phone model, and likely involves css and how it is applied by only a certain device is particularly difficult for me to troubleshoot.

I guess I'd have to see an example. From what you describe, it sounds like you would have every contest repeated 3 times in the related table widget (once for precinct, once for county, and once for state). Or perhaps you would have 3 widgets, one for each set of results. What I was looking to do was something like the screen shot below, where you can click a button to toggle between precinct and county-wide (or county and state-wide). That is what I ended up implementing. I hope I didn't overlook something out-of-the-box, and do that customization for naught!

Allison, Thanks for your response. What I was hoping for is not two different configurations of the application, but rather to be able to see the totals for a contest. For the Maryland example that you link to above, I can see results for individual counties, but I'm still overlooking how I would see the totals for the entire state of Maryland. Surely you don't have to add up Romney's and Obama's votes for each county to determine their totals for the state. For a close contest, I wouldn't know who actually won in the state without adding them up, or leaving the application and looking to a different source. I must be overlooking something.

I was looking at the latest Election Results Web App Builder configuration offered by the Esri Local Government Team. Looks nice, but it seems that a critical piece is missing. It seems that you can't get the county-wide results(or state-wide depending on your jurisdiction). People using this app like to see how districts voted, but they also need to be able to see the results for our whole county. I was hoping to update our existing results map, but need to have the ability to display the 'countywide results'. Has anyone modified the template to accomodate this? Better yet, did I just overlook something, and you can indeed see results for the whole jurisdiction? thanks in advance.

I have an existing parcel for which I would like to re-COGO about 8 courses from a new survey for an adjacent parcel. The adjacent parcel was COGOed in the opposite direction. Is there an easy way to reverse the COGO direction of all the lines in the parcel details window? I know you can reverse the bearing on one line, but this is not what I want. I need to COGO in the other direction, including some tangent curves for which it seems it would be very difficult to calculate the bearing if I need to COGO in the opposite direction. In the screen shot attached, I need to re-COGO lines 4 through 11, but I would like to be able to COGO from east to west (11 towards 4). Lines 9->8 and 8->7 are tangent curves. 9-8 is tangent to the bearing of 10->9, so it seems I can only do this if I first reverse the direction the entire parecel is COGOd in the grid. Thanks in advance!

Robert, Thanks. I'd like to avoid adding an LOD to the overall web map. All my other basemaps stop at 1:1,128 and wouldn't benefit from another LOD. The higher res image is only for part of the county, so I wanted to allow zooming to the 1:564 LOD only if a user deliberately chooses the higher res image so they are less likely to be confused by a blank map outside of the high res footprint.

Robert, Thanks for the suggestion. I tried adding the additional LOD to the array, but it does not seem to update the map. The zoom tools, double click, and the mouse wheel do not allow me to zoom in the extra level. Perhaps I'm just stuck with the quick zoom in/ zoom out user experience. if(this.basemapGallery.getSelected().title === 'West County 2016'){
this.map.__tileInfo.lods.push({"level":10,"resolution":0.14929107082380833,"scale":564.248587});

I have, but I didn't think it was possible. I know you can set LODs in the Map constructor, but I don't see a method call or a property that I can update on the Map class after it is created. Is there a way to do that?

I've added some aerial basemaps with the basemap widget that don't have the same default LODs as the default basemap. Some have fewer zoom levels, and some require additional zoom levels. Is there an easy way to constrain/add zoom levels if a certain basemap is turned on with the basemap widget? If not, I've been able to add an LOD to the map before it gets created, then use a zoom event handler to zoom back to the previous level if the user has a certain basemap turned on and attempts to zooms out of the range for that basemap. However, this creates an odd zoom in/ zoom out user experience. What I'd rather do is cancel the zoom event in this case. I could listen for zoom-start, but I can't find a way to cancel the map zoom. Does anyone know how to do this in the javascript API?

I just installed Portal 10.4.1 and expected to see the 'move to basemap' option. Does anyone know when this will be available in portal? More info: In ArcGIS online, you can create a composite basemap by adding an additional tiled map service, and then choosing the 'move to basemap' option as in the screen shot. I don't see this option in the context menu for a tiled map service in Portal.

Hi Robert, Thanks for your reply. I updated the _getPrintTaskInfo function as you suggested in the post (and am using a proxy), but still get the same result. The get request is using a proxy and returns the parameters, and I don't see any errors in the console, but the widget still doesn't finish loading. If you are able, you could take a look my app at https://gis.nevcounty.net/test/wab02/index.html

Erwin, I tried to install the patch for 1.3, and now I when I click on the OK button when creating a new app, I get this error: TypeError: Object doesn't support property or method 'stripHTML' at _createAppNode (https://myMachine:3344/webappbuilder/builder/main.js:2622:162) Any ideas? Can I get the old 1.3 developer download so that I can replace my main.js file so that I am able to at least create a new app?

Hi, I just noticed that our print widget has a timeout error when loading in Chrome (Version 52.0.2743.116 m). I tested a few others and found similar errors. It even happened to me when trying out Robert's Calhoun County Viewer 3.1, so I know it isn't just another poor programming error on my part . See screenshot below. The network traffic doesn't show any errors. It seems that the query to get print parameters from the service is returning a response. Anyone else having the same experience?

Alex, Did you resolve this? I am getting the same error after adding a feature class to a feature dataset, and right clicking the feature dataset to add global IDs. The SQL user that is connecting to the database has been able to add global IDs in the past.
