Probably should have been more specific. Yes, I used spatial join. I have the join, but cannot get the grouping from my excel spreadsheet to display to group by servicing facility.

Zip Code Boundaries - Fill by group based on join. Given: Zip Code file containing Zip_Code, and an assigned Value Representing a Servicing Facility. I simply want to join this file to the zip layer, then fill the boundaries with color based upon the assigned value, which would produce a visibly grouping by servicing facility. This seems like a very basic exercise, yet I cannot find any information about this, or maybe i'm using the wrong verbiage. Any direction and help is appreciated. Chris

I'm fairly new to this. So please bare with me! Table 1 has a pair of x/y coordinates. For example: id1 has an x/y for Atlanta, GA (a) and an x/y for Charlotte NC (b). There are thousands of these pairs, which each pair being unique. I need to put this on a map and have the mapping program display the shortest driving route from (a) to (b). I then need to bring in another table that has a single x/y coordinate and put that on a map (c) (no problem here) Then I need to analyze this to return the result of which point from table two, (c), is closest to which pair of points show in table 1. Could anyone provides the steps and tools necessary to accomplish this? Thank you
