Hi all, My team contacted XTools and this was their reply. Hope it helps (works for us): "This is a known issue in the recent XTools Pro 16.0. The problem is caused by the Selection Manager tool which uses layer extensions and adds GUIDs for the map layers and that seems to be unsupported on the ArcGIS Online (ArcGIS for Server) side, even if you don't use this tool. We are working on the ways to address and fix the issue in the next update. Meanwhile, if you experience this problem there is no need to uninstall XTools Pro. It is known to help if you simply select to store relative pathnames to data sources for your map document. If this does not help in your case you can try to unregister the Selection Manager component in XTools Pro. For your convenience, you can download a package with a couple of .reg files at: https://xtools.pro/media/4862/sm_regunreg.zip One can be used to unregister Selection Manager and another to register it back. This is for the default installation path and can be modified as required."

thanks jriester13 for the reply but I don't have that option in Portal. I can only add up to 6 decimal places when I configure each field in the popup. I created my original file in a fgdb so when I made the field double I had not option to choose what how many significant digits to store (not that I think it should matter for this!)

Hi, The theory is that you can autopopulate the coordinates when using Collector. I have followed all the instructions using: https://doc.arcgis.com/en/collector/ios/create-maps/gps-config-metadata-storage.htm and I am running a Bad Elf GPS Pro with the latest version of Collector on iOS but still nothing. No fields are autopopulated. am I missing something?

Hi all, I'm trying to run an external GPS in Collector. I have: - iPad 2 running iOS 9.3.5 - Collector 10.4.0 - Bad Elf GPS BE-GPS-1000 In Collector, I have set the location receiver as the Bad Elf. On the iPad all location services have been switched on. In the Bad Elf app, I am able to see that the GPs is working and receiving satellite information but when I switch to collector it gives me the following error: 'No Information Received: Your receiver is connected but not sending information. Ensure your receiver is configured correctly' any help would be appreciated. thanks.

Probably on the angle of of the polygon. We have yet to test and see which gives us the best results. Thanks

Hi, I have a few (very) irregular polygons that I need to place 30 samples within, but I want the samples to be regularly spaced (i.e. on a grid). I could use ESRI fish net and ET Geowizards, but I don't want to be counting out how many points are in each polygon and then resampling and clipping until I find 30. Is there another way around this? I am running ArcMap 10.2 on an ArcView licence (so any suggestions of Parcel Editor won't work either). Has anyone tried Geospatial Modelling Environment? Thanks!

Hi, I have projected a spreadsheet of XY (lat/long) coordinates into Arc10 and now I want to add a few more points. Aside from editing the spreadsheet, importing it and then projecting it again, is there a way to add the lat/long coordinates in Arc and display them without having to go outside the program? Seems simple enough, but I can't seem to find a solution... Cheers

Hi, I'm trying to export/print maps using Data Driven Pages, but everytime I do an "OLE frame" text box appears in all my pdfs. I am using a pre-defined layout but I haven't imbedded any images/spreadsheets, etc so I don't know what is causing the problem. this issue only occurs when I export maps using Data driven pages and does not happen at any other time. I'm guessing that the problem lies deeper in how ArcGIS10.0 is reading my files, but I'm no whiz with that. Perhaps it's to do with my layout template... Thanks!
