The ArcGIS Solutions is all new to us, so I have a pretty basic question. I downloaded the Sewer Utility Network Configuration and have started following the steps to setting it up. Do you have to Create an Enterprise Geodatabase in order to use this solution? I can't seem to find a way to get around it. Thanks for your help.

Erwin, we do not have a public facing example. The server that this is hosted on is internal only. If you have any questions let me know. I contacted ESRI for help with this, and they have logged it as a bug. There is definitely a correlation between the number of layers and launching the Layer List widget. There seems to be a limit to the layers you can have before it becomes painfully slow to render.

Jake, thanks for the help. This works great when we are logged in to AGOL but when we use ArcREST python to access the same content it doesn't seem to work. Any suggestions?

Well, we fixed it. In my data frame under the general tab, I had a reference scale set, which was set at 55200. As soon as we turned reference scale to none, it fixed itself.

In Arcmap 10.2.2 I am using a 1.0 line thickness and a 0.10 line thickness for parcel lines and canal lines and they are showing up way too thick compared to the other users in my department. Doesn't matter if I'm in layout view, or data view, editing or not. Any suggestions? Rae ps - we've just converted my computer from 32 bit to 64 bit and added Windows 8.

Dear ESRI - I would like to make a suggestion that it would be helpful to have more control over Key Numbering. I have a map which required a lot of Key Numbering of streets for a local school board. I had to convert them to annotation in the map and then copy and paste them into word, then create a box in the lower portion of the map to list all the numbered streets. Would be marvelous if we could set up key numbering to do this instead of doing it manually. Thanks Rae Kenny-Rife GIS Tech Yakima County

Is there a tool which will take a polygon, tax parcel to be specific and measure the dimensions of each line segment? I frequently need to calculate parcel measurements for customers. I believe I would have a far more accurate measurement using a tool than trying to measure with the MEASURE tool. Also, would be great to have the line segments label. ie. 1040 ft, 2610 ft etc. Thanks. Rae Kenny-Rife GIS Tech Yakima County

I have created a custom overlay Township Range grid for an atlas. My graticule labels lat long on outside of data frame and the custom overlay grid labels TWN RNG on inside of data frame. See Attachment. I have a feature class in the main data frame that labels town range with a font and halo. Custom Label Expressions are not functional yet in custom overlay grids. I want to make the custom overlay grid label have a halo just like the feature class is labelled in green with the white halo. I have thought of making a custom font with a halo but have never tried this. Thanks for any thoughts and suggestions. Rae
