Hi, just simple tiffs (15/20 Mb each) representing disease probability areas. Our offline processing model produces two predictions each month and we would like to use the ArcGIS Online Extension to share them as a multidimensional Image Service. Now we are doing this with our ArcGIS Image Server on premises, but we bought the license extension for arcgis online to gradually dismiss our own server.

Hi, it would be great if esri ( @BrianBaldwin ?) told us if they were thinking about it or not. For my organization it is a huge limit and it would make the difference in using dashboards in production or not, and having it just in test makes no sense

Hi, we are in the same situation by months. https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-dashboards-questions/token-protected-dashboard/m-p/1021428 It seems that Operation Dashboards does not support the "token" URL parameter, while webappbuilder does. I don't understand why Esri has put such a limit and I hope it will soon be remedied by extending support to the token in the url also for dashboards in the next release

Hi, no. it is not possible at the moment. Esri must make it possible to pass the token as a url parameter, for example, to make this possible. This is crucial in so many use cases in my opinion. Hope it will happen soon!

I believe the sum function would be very useful. In many cases mean has no sense and the correct statistics to apply is just the sum of a numeric attribute field values in the clustered features. Please, implement it!

Hi, I have a dashboard application using an ArcGIS Server web service as data source. The ArcGIS Server is a stand alone installation on my local windows server with web adaptor and the exposed web services are token protected. When my arcgis online operations dashboard starts, it correctly shows the authentication popup window asking for username and password to obtain the token from the ArcGIS Server token service. It is possible to avoid the authentication popup passing a pre-generated token? I don't want to register my ArcGIS Server web service as an ArcGIS online resource because I need the dashboard remains protected Thanks

Hi all, I have a license of ArcGIS Enterprise Standard 10.6 that is regularly under maintenance. I tried to install Enterprise on a dedicated server, with SSL certificates and so no... but the Enterprise Builder fails at the end of the installation, when verifying the Portal license. I can't generate the license in MyESRI, so I asked my vendor and he answered that I have no right to install and use Portal because I have an "educational license" of ArcGIS Enterprise. Is this possible? I always heard the statment "If you have Server, you have Portal", even watching at all the ESRI Workshops videos related to Server/Enterprise. Moreover, I can not find this thing written on any ESRI official channel. Is it possible that it is a mistake/misunderstanding of my vendor? How can I solve? Thanks in advance.

Many thanks. say I go with option 1. Is it mandatory to set the scratch workspace using the ArcMap menu (Geoprocessing > Environments) or I can set it to my tool scratch folder directly in my script? It would be useful because I often work on different scripts and custom gp tools during the day and I'm quite sure forgetting to change the scratch environment jumping from a tool to another can be easy, at least for me. Anyway if, for example, I write in my Python code, just below the imports, something like: arcpy.env.scratchworkspace = r"D:\myTool\Scratch" it probably will be not correct when the tool run on server as GP Task, as the server to work properly want to use its own scratch folder and scratch gdb (inside the unique-id directory). So, does exist a solution to set the ArcMap environments by Python script without affecting the server behaviour?

This version of ArcGIS for Server looks like it's full of bugs! This morning the geoprocessing task stopped working, apparently with no reasons. No changes were made to the code or to the script tool or to the service. It now fails with an error (invalid parameters) creating a feature layer with arcpy.MakeFeatureLayer_management(my_simple_feature_class,"my_feature_layer"). The task worked with no problems until last evening. Are ESRI tools are meant to be used in a production environment? 10.5 it's so unreliable!

Registering the scartch workspace local path as server data store seems to solve the problem (it is anyway a workaround). I believe the problem is that the Service Editor "read" the content of the arcpy.env.scratchGDB (in my case (C:\Users\MyUserName\Documents\ArcGIS\scratch.gdb) instead accepting it as is. I never had the need to register the scratch path as data store with the previous versions. Can you confirm this is a bug? Thank you

Hi, I noticed something looking like a bug behavior publishing geoprocessing script tools (based on python script) as geoprocessing tasks on arcgis enterprise 10.5. I created the tool and run it on ArcMap 10.5 successfully but when I try to publish the result it fails giving an error that informs me that the copy of the data on server is not allowed (it is correct, I disabled it on purpose). All the data I use are in folders that are registered in the server data store, but I discovered that the problem is related to the arcpy.env.scratchGDB variable! If I use it, the server tries to upload intermediate data from the local path (that is not registered as data store) instead of working with the scratch gdb created in the service. To make the geoprocessing tool published I need to substitute all the occurence of arcpy.env.scratchGDB with the path of a registered folder. Then, to make the tool work properly on server, I need to edit the python source in C:\arcgisserver\directories\arcgissystem\arcgisinput\MyTool.GPServer\extracted\v101\mytool\mytool.py and put in place the arcpy.env.scratchGDB variable The same script worked perfectly on ArcGIS 10.3 (both Desktop and Server)

thank you Duarte, maybe the less problematic way for me is to roll back to 10.4.1 Fortunately I just have to reinstall the web adaptors. I expect ESRI fix this asap! Otherwise 10.5 will remain unuseful for anyone having a production environment with web applications running.

Hi, thanks for the workaround. Can you help me to figure out how to apply it to the definitions array in an identify task? It seems a "start" event is not available for identify, so the invalid definition expression error still remain.
