Hello Ismael, Thanks for reply, but currently we are using ArcGIS Sever 10.0 and therefore I have to update .Msd files. So if there an option of programatically updating .Msd files ( not from Mxds) Thanks, Ss

Hi, I am in process of updating ArcSDE server from 9.31 10 10.2. There are lots of MSD files that uses old SDE server connection and need to be updated with correct path and Dataset Names. I tried using IMSDHelper to update connection string but I am wondering how to update other parameter's for MSD to republish it. I will highly appreciate any help in this regard. Thanks, Sumit

Hi khibma, I have a geoprocessing service ??A? that returns output as GPRecordset. Now I want to use the returned recordset as input into another GP service ??B? that is created using python script. I am using following to set input type inside the python script for service ??B?: Arcpy.GetParameter(0) And from Script side (Gp properties) I am setting input type ??Recordset? as parameter type. Attached is the screenshot. But when I try to run the service ??B?, it fails as it is not allowing passing record set as input. The workflow I am trying to accomplish is generating tables from GP service ??A? and passing that tables (as recordset) to GP service ??B? for reporting. I am struggling with passing the data to GP service ??B?. I would highly appreciate any help in this regard. FYI: Working with ARCGIS Server 10.0. Thanks, Sumit

Hello Charlie, You don't require EnumExt as this was something I was doing for other test inside the code solution. As this was an engine application therefore m_hookHelper is predefined inside the engine template. If you are creating ArcGIS Desktop application then you can use IMxDocument to get IActiveView. Let me know if you require some more details!! Sumit

Hello Jafarov, From your post I understand that you are trying to add ArcGIS service inside your engine application and wondering if this is a possible workflow. Surely this is a possible workflow. Please refer to following forum on how to do it: --http://forums.esri.com/Thread.asp?c=158&f=2276&t=279387 Cheers!! Sumit

Can you provide details on how many features get added or updated before you get this error? Also are you using recycling cursor or non-recycling cursor? Try releasing cursor after 40,000 or 50,000 iterations and see if that makes any difference. Cheers!! Sumit

Hello Porter, Is it an engine application. If it is an engine application then look into this Kbb article. It is a bug in VS 2010. --http://support.esri.com/en/knowledgebase/techarticles/detail/37879 Cheers!! SS

Hello James, If your development environment is 32 bit and are deploying on 64 bit machine then build your application with the compiler option set to x86 in visual studio solution. ESRI components have to be compiled as x86, even though they are being deployed on 64 bit machine. Sumit
