I'm having a hard time with what should be a super simple process. When adding points to a pre-existing feature class, I need to populate an already-existing field in that feature class with data from an intersecting polygon feature class. Attribute Assistant has this function ("Intersecting Feature"), and it works great, but I need to be working in Pro. There doesn't seem to be a solution using Attribute Rules that replicates it. Also, I do not want to export a new point feature class. I need to update the attributes of an existing points file on-the-fly (as new points are digitized, attribute info from the underlying polygon feature class automatically populates the point feature class field). The values in the polygon feature class will all be unique numeric values. I am open to scripting solutions, but I have never written Python code before. Thanks, Tony

Ok, so I was able to download and populate the shortlist_layer templates, but I'm having an issue publishing the shortlist app itself. After creating the web map, I choose to share the map as a Shortlist Story Map, but I'm hitting another road block. I can create the app if I select the "Yes, import them" button, but I am unable to create the app if I choose "Yes, use them as-is." If I choose the as-is option, the process seems to hang up, and I'm stuck with a grey screen. The app doesn't push to the next options and will not let me set it up. I've used a multiple different names for the csv file, including the original "shortlist_layer.csv." I'd prefer the as-is option, so I can edit the web map and have more control over the main and thumbnail images. Thanks!

Thanks Rupert! I'll try this workaround today or tomorrow. Any news/updates on when this app will move out of beta? Also, will there be any additional customizable aspects (e.g. point graphics, widgets, other map options as in the other apps, etc.)? Tony

I'm having a new issue loading images to a point in my shortlist story map. For my app, I like to upload separate images for my thumbnail and main pictures. This has worked fine for me in the past, but when adding a new point (over the past week), I paste two different web links into the image uploader and close the window, but the main image link always overrides and replaces the thumbnail link. I then have the same image for the thumbnail as the main info page. I've even tried this using image links I know to have worked in the past, and the main image URL seems to always replace the thumbnail URL when I close the window. This is strange, because before these new attempts, the image uploading via web link worked fine. Both links were preserved, and I had separate images for my thumbnail and main picture. Thanks Tony

Thanks for your reply Katie! I am able to get the map to zoom to the point when I select the project from the sections tab, but I'm still trying to get the map to zoom to each specific point when I click the point on the map itself. For instance, if I'm zoomed to the full extent and I click a point on the map, I'd like the map to then zoom to that specific point. The example map actually does this, but the only thing that happens when I click on a point in my map is that the popup box comes up (map extent stays the same). Thanks! Tony

I'm having an issue with one aspect of a story map I'm building. The following map is exactly what I'm trying to emulate: http://storymaps.esri.com/stories/2016/refugee-camps/# I believe it's a "Journal" template. When I build my story map, everything looks similar, but I am not able to get my map to zoom in to a particular point once I select it. The point is selectable, but the extent remains full. Is there a setting within the app builder? Thanks! Tony
