Hi Trent, We've identified an issue with creating the dynamic mosaic when control is in WGS84. We are actively working on a fix. In the meantime the workaround for using estimated images links, is to use control in a projected coord system. Best, Tony Mason

Gregor, What vertical reference are you using? For the DJI P4 RTK drone we recommend using the vertical reference: Height Above Ellipsoid and leaving the Geoid Height at 0. Set this for both Image Coordinate System and Project Coordinate System through Options > Coordinate Systems. Can you give this a try and see if it helps? If you have already tried this we can get our support team involved to collect more information to help figure this out. Thanks, Tony

Jeremy, Add them to the file before importing. For example, if importing a .csv file, add two columns to the end - one for horizontal accuracy and another for vertical accuracy. If you do not know the correct values, simply fill them in with .02 and you should get the same results you are seeing in Drone2Map 1.3.2. Thanks Tony

Jeremy, There is an issue in versions 2.0 and 2.0.1. If the horizontal and vertical accuracy are not specified when importing GCPs, the RMSE may be higher than expected. A workaround for this in versions 2.0 and 2.0.1 is to make sure your GCPs include the horizontal and vertical accuracy values when importing. If the accuracy is unknown, set it to .02 for both horizontal and vertical accuracy in your GCP file before importing, as this is the default used in Drone2Map 1.3.2. We have a fix for this coming soon in the 2.0.2 patch. Additionally in version 2.1 we will let you manually change the horizontal and vertical accuracy after importing control. Thanks Tony

Would you guys happen to have ArcGIS Pro with the Data Interoperability extension installed on the same machine as Drone2Map? There is a known issue at Drone2Map 2.0 and 2.0.1 when running Drone2Map on the same machine with this extension. If you do have this installed, I recommend uninstalling the Data Interoperability extension for ArcGIS Pro or remove the DataInterop.dll from \install location\Drone2Map\bin. If you do not have ArcGIS Pro with the Data Interoperability extension installed on the same machine as Drone2Map, I would recommend opening a support ticket so we can help identify and resolve the issue. Thanks Tony Mason

Ian, This happens when the altitude values from the drone are not accurate and/or ground control was not used. If you are not using ground control, use the Image Altitude tool on the Flight Data tab. https://doc.arcgis.com/en/drone2map/help/flight-data-geolocation.htm#ESRI_SECTION1_5A127E05AEE24073A4C3882C1E78FE5E Additionally when you create a 3D point cloud / mesh in D2M, you can also create a DSM and DTM. You can then add one of these (DTM is best) as a ground elevation source in ArcGIS Pro. This will set the elevation in your project area to what was processed in D2M. Thanks Tony

Hi Jason, Yes we are working on an enhanced version of the elevation profile tool that will improve on what was available in D2M 1.3.2. This is planned for the 2.1 release. In addition to elevation we are going to include other information from imagery including spectral values from multispectral imagery. Thanks Tony

Damiano, For portals that are 10.7 or earlier there needs to be an additional configuration step applied to the portal in order to license Drone2Map 2.0. Please see this article for more details: https://support.esri.com/en/technical-article/000021180 We will look at adding the project name to the shared projects by default for the next release. For the crashes, please submit your crash dumps so we can take a look. In the meantime please contact support so they can log a support case. We will look at adding a default setting to control the CPU used by default when the app starts up for the next release. Thanks Tony
