This started happening a couple of months ago. Before I was able to type in a parcel ID or address and the search would quickly narrow it down for me without having to click anything else. Now it starts out with a drop down of "empty" and when I type in a value, it's not finding it if it's alphabetically or numerically up the scale. So I can get all the addresses that begin with a 1, but not with a 2 or higher. It seems to happen with larger datasets, like parcels and addresses. Could it be an issue with the 1000 record limit in AGOL? I've updated those specific services to have a higher limit, but it doesn't seem to make a difference.

Hi Robert, My WAB application is hosted by ArcGIS Online, it is not the developer edition. So shouldn't I have the newest version? Is there a way to check? Alicia

At some point in the recent past, the query widget in WAB was updated, and it's now causing my unique values to be replaced by a "search more" link. I do not want that functionality, as it is just another thing my users have to click to be able to get the right value. It also makes it appear as if the unique value they've typed in is not in the database, even though you can find it if you click the "search more" link, but my users are used to doing it the way it used to be and don't even know they need to click anything to get more results. It's like the query widget is only populating the first bit of unique values and then grouping all of the rest of them under this "search more" link. I realize that this is probably for performance reasons, but how do I get my unique values back? I need them!

I'm having problems with some attachments in an ArcGIS online story map. The layer is a map service that is being fed from a replicated file geodatabase off of a local ArcGIS Server. All of my attachments are simply links inside the pop up, and most of the photos show up fine when clicked. However, some of the photos when clicked give me a black screen with a small white box in the center, like it can't find the photo. I'm able to access these photos fine within a desktop application like ArcMap, but for some reason a few of the photos will not show up inside the web app. I tested both the original database and the replicated geodatabase and I can access the photos locally from both gdb's, so I don't think it's a replication problem. Has anyone else encountered this problem? Is it an AGOL problem or a Server problem? Thanks! EDIT 8/17/18: I tried removing the attachments that weren't working, changing their file format from jpg to png, and then adding them again and this appeared to fix the problem.

Update: After contacting ESRI technical support, I found out this is a bug. I am using the Jewelry Box theme, so the only workaround it seems would be to change themes. BUG-000110444 Synopsis: Widgets are not visible during the initial launch of a Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS application using the Jewelry Box and Foldable theme.

I've been having a weird issue going on with a web application over the past couple of weeks. The application is built with the web app builder and takes advantage of the header controller to organize widgets. Lately, the widgets associated with the header controller won't show up in the correct place when viewing the application (see screenshot). They move to the middle of the page instead of the top right corner, and are incredibly difficult to see because they are white on a mostly white background when this happens so people can't find them. Has anyone else experienced this issue? It seems to be a relatively new thing, possibly corresponding with the latest ArcGIS Online update. If so, what is the fix? Thanks!

Have you tried turning off the shadows in the web scene? I've found in my experience that this drastically improves performance.

It was the browser for me. I was initially trying to download in Chrome, but once I switched over to IE it worked fine. Thank you!

I'm having a similar problem this morning when trying to download the trial - when I attempt to enter my information and put in the captcha phrase, it tells me the image verification is wrong time after time. I even tried the audio and it still gave me the same error. I emailed Esri support, so we'll see if it gets fixed today.

I'm looking to develop a realistic model of a future park, including a playground complete with equipment in CityEngine. Does anyone have any examples or advice on how to go about doing this? Are there any rule packages out there that might be helpful? I've tried browsing around online but haven't really found anything specific to playgrounds, ball fields, etc.

I'm trying to test out using ESRI's Maps for Office to verify resident addresses, but I've hit a very big roadblock - geocoding by address isn't an option! I've tried using multiple spreadsheets with street address data parsed out in multiple ways (all in one column, broken out by street address, city, state, zip, etc.) but the add-in won't give me the option to map them. When I attempt to, the option just isn't there - not even Esri's world geocoder. Does anyone have any idea why this would be happening? I am using the newest version of the add-in (4.0) and 32 bit Office 2010 on a Windows 7 machine.I tried uninstalling/reinstalling but no change. I haven't used previous versions of the add-in before, so I don't know if this behavior is unique to the 4.0 release or not. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Did you ever find a good workflow for printing a topography base? I'm having the same issue myself and have tried a few things that have failed, so I'm still looking!

I'm having an issue with the 3D web scene viewer and my DEM/Imagery textures. In the viewer, the imagery texture seems to "spill over" the DEM, causing a weird stretched look below my scene. However, inside CityEngine this is not visible at all, and I've checked that the DEM file and the imagery file have the exact same extent, so I know that isn't the issue. Is this a bug in the viewer? Anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this? I've tried re-clipping my imagery in a variety of ways but I get the same result regardless. I appreciate any help this community can provide! I've included screenshots to better explain. The first screenshot is what it looks like once published to a 3D web scene in the browser. This is the same model within CityEngine:
