I am using SQL server 2012 SP1 and created the SQL Query Layer and once I open it in ArcMap 10.3.1 then I find few feature disappeared at the bottom. Also, I do pan the map to the bottom and do refresh the map ,features get disappeared. I search the same issue in Google and find out the below URL : http://desktop.arcgis.com/en/arcmap/10.3/manage-data/gdbs-in-sql-server/sqlserver-spatial-types-and-arcgis.htm#ESRI_SECTION1_AE69A93272D34B3B835BE38D4E36FEA8 Is it the same issue with SQL Server 2012 also. Is any map frame defined for query layer in which data can not be displayed beyond that. Your help would be highly appreciated.

Hello, I am upgrading an application from ArcGIS WPF SDK 10.1.1 to 10.2.5 but we are facing identify issue on deployment machine. On development machine it's working fine. I checked the ArcGISRuntimeLog folder at " C:\Users\<<UserName>>\AppData\Local\Temp\" and find out the following error : webserver -“Lost connection on port 50000” This is the same port on which the identify tool is working i.e. in identifyTask the following URL is passing : http://<ipaddress>>:50000/jkhdgl/arcgis/rest/services/............ I cleaned the ArcGISPackageCache also before running the application at following path : C:\Users\<<UserName>>\AppData\Local\ArcGISRuntime\Local\ESRI\ArcGISPackageCache But no success. However, identify tool is working fine with WPF SDK 10.1.1 where local service is also hosting on same port (50000) with this version. Some time it's crashing on initialize the application with the following error : Internal Server Error (500). Any suggestion would be highly appreciated. Thanks Sharad Arya

I am not sure that this issue will be resolved in Android SDK 10.1.1 update 1 but I resolved this issue from SelectFeatures method of the featurelayer and get the callback. like this way... ArrayList<Graphic> lstGraphics = new ArrayList<Graphic>(); featureLayer.selectFeatures(query, SELECTION_METHOD.NEW, new CallbackListener<FeatureSet>() { @Override public void onCallback(FeatureSet fs) { // TODO Auto-generated method stub Graphic[] features = fs.getGraphics(); for (Graphic feature : features) { if (feature == null) continue; lstGraphics.add(feature); } Graphic[] graphics= lstGraphics.toArray(new Graphic[0]); } } Happy Coding....... Hi, I am new in Android Development and started the development in android GIS application with ArcGIS Android API 10.1.1 on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) platform and running the helloworld application on 4.2 ARM Emulator. Map is not loaded on emulator. I checked the internet connection on emulator. Machine was on proxy inernet connection. I set the proxy connection properties in APN in emulator. Now, the internet is working on emulator. All REST URL's are opening well on emulator. But why this REST url is not loading in ArcGIS Android Application? I am using ArcGIS Online basemap url(Topo Map) in the application for loading the map. Already set the following properties in Manifest file.... <uses-permission android:name="android.permission.INTERNET" /> <uses-permission android:name="android.permission.ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION" /> <uses-permission android:name="android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE" /> <uses-feature android:glEsVersion="0x00020000" android:required="true"/> What could be the problem ? Your help would be highly appreciated. Thanks

Thanks for your reply. I have tried both ARM and x86 image emulator but on both map did not loaded. From this article it seems that it supports x86 emulator as well. http://blogs.esri.com/esri/arcgis/2012/05/02/arcgis-runtime-sdk-for-android-v1-1-supports-android-emulator/ I thought it's OpenGL problem and finally check the compatibility of the graphics card with OpenGL wih GL Extension Viewer 4.0.1. System has Intel HD graphics with OpenGL version 3.3 whicl means it supports opengl. But why map is not loading on emulator. Please help......

Create an android XML in /res/values and add the string tag with the name and its value. <string name="user_name">USERNAME</string> <string name="user_pwd">PASSWORD</string> You can get the same from R.string.user_name and R.string.user_pwd. String myuser= R.string.user_name ; String mypassword= R.string.user_pwd; map = new MapView(this, "http://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=5c57ca58ba8543a7adbcf898bbd805d8", myuser,my password); setContentView(map); I think, it helps for you. Happy Coding

Hi , I am working on ArcGIS 9.3.1 Data Interoperablity Tools. I need to import the Microstation Design file(*.dgn) by programically. I did it by Geoprocessing tool by opening the "Data Interoperatblity tools.tbx". It imports the dgn file into fgdb but when i open feature layer in ArcMap, it shows a warning message (Inconsistent extent). I checked the log file generated by ArcCatalog-> DataInteroperablity Tools-> QuickImport and my code both. I got a difference in these two. In Catalog log file it uses a MASTER coordinate units whereas with my code it uses the SUB coordinate units. If it do the same by using ArcCatalog with SUB coordinate units, it shows the warning message in ArcMap. How can i change this settings by code. I tried so much but no luck still. Code is as below : pToolWorkspaceFactory = New ESRI.ArcGIS.Geoprocessing.ToolboxWorkspaceFactory pToolWorkspace = pToolWorkspaceFactory.OpenFromFile("C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\ArcToolbox\Toolboxes", 0) If (pToolWorkspace IsNot Nothing) Then pGPToolbox = pToolWorkspace.OpenToolbox("Data Interoperability Tools") If (pGPToolbox IsNot Nothing) Then pGPTool = pGPToolbox.OpenTool("QuickImport") If (pGPTool IsNot Nothing) Then pParams = pGPTool.ParameterInfo pParameter = pParams.Element(0) 'First Parameter (Microstation DGN File) pParamEdit = pParameter pDataType = pParameter.DataType sValue = "IGDS," + strDgnFilePath pParamEdit.Value = pDataType.CreateValue(sValue) pParameter = pParams.Element(1) 'Second Parameter (Ouput FGDB Path) pParamEdit = pParameter pDataType = pParameter.DataType sValue = strFGDBPath pParamEdit.Value = pDataType.CreateValue(sValue) pTrackCancel = New ESRI.ArcGIS.Display.CancelTracker pGPComHelper = New GpDispatch pEnvMgr = pGPComHelper.EnvironmentManager pMess = pGPTool.Validate(pParams, False, Nothing) If CheckForError(pMess) = True Then Dim isValidTool As Boolean = pGPTool.IsValid() pGPTool.Execute(pParams, pTrackCancel, pEnvMgr, pMess) IsImported = True Else IsImported = False End If End If End If End if Please help me. Can i do the same in another way? Thanks in advance. Sharad arya
