I am having this same issue. All I see is the count in the popup. If I have 8 related records, are each of these records viewable at all in the popup? Or do I just have to open the table?

Does anyone know how members of an ArcGIS Online organization can view content created by other members of the same organization? I share everything with my organization, but when other people log in to their accounts they don't see anything I've done unless they do a search. Is there another area to look where you can see ALL content created by everyone without doing a keyword search?

I realize I could use a domain too, and I may go this route. I just have to make sure the domain always stays updated, which I don't necessarily like. I know, I know just set a scheduled task. I was just wondering if there's another way...

I have an empty SDE feature class (SQL Server) published as a feature service and shared in a web map. I want to use the Collector app to start an inventory of some features. One of the fields that will get populated is the site address of the feature being collected. Rather than typing in the full address manually, I would like it to auto suggest. As you type more characters, the suggestions get narrowed down until you can pick the one you want. I don't need it to zoom to the location, though. It just needs to fill in the blank. I have an ArcGIS Server service of our address database. Is it possible to query and populate a text field with the values from another table inside an ArcGIS Online web map? If so, how?

I have this same question. I have about 200 aerial photos that I need to scan and georeference. I was going to save them as jpgs with a dpi of 600. I tried tiff first, but the file sizes are so much bigger. Does it really matter what format the image is in? I checked out the border after scanning and it is not all one value (255). I was going to clip it in Photoshop first, but how much should be clipped? I thought that features in aerial photos became distorted as you get further away from the center. And with all the overlap, is it okay to clip a little more inside the border also? As Jeff said, it's better to do this correctly from the beginning.

My organization just started doing field work where they are using the Collector for ArcGIS app on an ipad (for a sign inventory). We noticed immediately that the app really does a number on the ipad's battery life. After about four hours the ipad is completely drained. We thought about buying an external battery that can be plugged in to help with this. However, just today after a few hours of collection, the ipad overheated and shut itself down. It was only in the low 70's today, so I can't imagine what it will be like when it's in the 80's. We have a protective case around the ipad, but I'd hate to take it off. I would imagine these same issues would happen on other devices?? Luckily, we have two ipads, so when one overheats it can go in the air conditioned car to cool off and recharge until the second one starts to overheat. Has anyone else encountered either of these issues, and would you have any advice?

How do you do this on an ipad? When I connect it to my computer, which is Windows, I can't drill into any folders of the device.

I have the Election Polling Place web mapping application downloaded and configured to my organizational account. After showing it to our County Clerk to make sure everything was accurate, she pointed something out to me. When she would click on a star on the map (indicating a poll place), the pop up window appears showing information about that location. She would also look at the bottom panel that shows elected officials, and she thought that the mouse click on the poll would also update what is shown on the bottom panel. I told her that to update the bottom panel information, you had to either click somewhere else in the map (not on a star) or do a search in the search box. The mouse click on a poll place is not associated with the bottom panel information. If she assumes that clicking on a poll will update the bottom panel information, chances are likely that other people will think the same way. I'm very glad she brought this up because it makes a lot of sense. How do I change the code in the application so that when a user does a mouse click on a poll place that the bottom panel information updates itself as well? I'm not a coder at all, so if doing this is too complicated, I doubt I'll be able to do it. If I can't get this to work, at the very least I can add some text somewhere in the application indicating the popup and the bottom panel are not coincident.

Okay, I finally have this figured out. The problem was the Wi-Fi network connection. When I tried opening these web maps in Collector at home, all problems went away. I can now drop points and edit existing points, which I could not before. At work, my employer has two different Wi-Fi networks. I disconnected from the one that I always used, connected to the other, and then everything worked! Also, everything worked great when I had Wi-Fi turned off completely. So, I guess there was something in the settings of one of the Wi-Fi networks that wasn't allowing me to edit in Collector. Thank you to everyone for all the suggestions posted. I hope this post helps somebody else who might be experiencing the same problem.

I opened a new web map, added the layer, then saved and shared. I did just talk with someone from ESRI. I did not have archiving enabled when I set up the feature class. I don't know if that made a difference or not. We did go through the entire process of creating a feature class and creating a new service and web map. I still am not able to collect or edit data, however, the ESRI rep could! So it is definitely something with my phone. I have a Samsung Galaxy s5 Android version 4.4.2. We are both going to do more testing and hopefully figure out what to do. I'll post back with any results.

Thanks Joe. I'm using 10.2.1. In this version I can see the "sync" checkbox, but when I check on it, it brings back a message saying I can't use it. But I don't think I need to use the offline editing capability (not yet anyways). But does having this function even matter when using the ArcGIS Server feature service in the Collector app?
