Have you gotten this to work? We are trying as well with AutoCAD Civil 3D 2016 and Server 10.3.1. We also get the 405 error upon trying to access secured services.

Hi All, I have been tasked with finding a way to make a few calculations using a DEM or TIN in an ArcServer application, these calculations are to Draw a line and calculate the slope absed on the DEM or TIN, and 2 is to draw a polygon and calculate the facing angle and slope of a best-fit plane through that surface. I know it has to do with spatial analyst and some sort of geoprocessing service, could anyone help me out here? Thanks!

Does anyone know if there are such thing as dynamic symbols I can use with my routing application that will change color based on new routes added or if you place a stop for the route it is a number within a colored circle similar to what it is like in ArcMap?

I am trying to write a function that will allow me to turn a function off with a checkbox. here is my code: jQuery("#centeronCurrentLocationCheckBox").change(function() {
if(showLocation == 0){
showLocation = 1;
}else{
showLocation = 0;
alert("hi");
}
}); I have another working checkbox that does the same as this, so I thought I would recreate it with just different titles for the function and id name. I also created a event handler function for this as well, but when I did, my map did not show up at all and I got an error that was located in the arcgis javascript api. any suggestions as to how to create the code to turn this function on and off?

Hello, I am trying to create a dropdown menu for my routing app that allows a user to select from a list of buildings, and when the user selects a building the location of that building is added to the route for them to navigate to. I have gotten the the drop down menu to populate with buildings, but not from the query results. I was thinking that it might just be easier to hard code an array that includes all the buildings and the xy coordinates for each building. here is the url for my app:

Correct, after I rebuild the network after adding the restrictions and making sure they are turned on, when the network is "solved" it still goes through the set restrictions.

I am trying to build a network of sidewalks and route handicap people around stairs and hills. The only thing is, I have my network working for routing around stairs, but when I try to add hills and put in restrictions for hills it doesn't work. I have stairs as override and listed as restriction in the evaluator tab, and the same for hills.

I am going to be developing a app that helps handicap people navigate around campus and avoid obstacles such as stairs and construction or maintenance. This is going to be deployed on mobile devices and on the web. I was wondering what programming language would be best and the most flexible.
