I have two Shortlist Story Maps, which were created using the "use them as-is" method for the places. The two applications reference the same places layer (hosted feature service published from a CSV using the template) and are virtually identical except for when they were created. Shortlist A was created in July 2018 whereas Shortlist B was created in November 2018. The description field for my places layer contains HTML and CSS, which appears correctly with the exception of h1 headings. In Shortlist A there is no issue; however, in Shortlist B the heading displays as the code itself instead of the actual text. See below. Shortlist A Shortlist B Was there a change with the app's style sheet or am I missing something? This happens with every new Shortlist that I create whereas it was not an issue in the past. Thank you! Rupert Essinger

Heming - I'm assuming you added this code to one of Web AppBuilder's (Dev) files for the search widget. Could you shed some light please on which file you added this code to? Thanks!

We are experiencing the same issue on our end. Setup a feature layer search within Web AppBuilder's search widget (AGOL and Web AppBuilder Dev 2.8). The water body's name has been set as the search and display fields. Maximum suggestions and results are set to 20 and the option to return an exact match is enabled. If I type in the letter 'p' into the search the results are ordered the way they are in the data layer, which is alphabetically, and the results also include anything containing a letter 'p.' So basically the query is LIKE '%p%' where I'm wanting LIKE 'p%' I know the current results are going to be very confusing to our end users, which is the general public. Executing the preferred query through the hosted service's REST returns the expected results. As a side, the filter and query widgets in Web AppBuilder work the way I'd expect when searching for unique values by water body name.

Hi Mark, Sorry for the delay. It looks like the certified fish scales layer was unshared from the group. I have updated the sharing properties so let me know if you still get that error. And both layers (PFDs and scales) display in the web map, but when I open the shortlist, only the second layer will display. In other words, if the PFD layer is ordered above the scale layer in the table of contents, only scales will display. If I swap the ordering where scales comes first, only PFDs will display. Also, for reference the two PFD records are near Lake Havasu City. Brittany

Hi Mark, Thank you for the help! And yes, I have confirmed that the error no longer occurs; however, it looks like only one additional point layer displays within the shortlist now. I have two layers in the map, which display in the map just fine. When I load the shortlist, only the second layer of the two will display (e.g. layer a and layer b, only layer b will display). This holds true when I change the order of the layers (e.g. layer b and layer a, only layer a will display). Brittany

Hi Allison, I have checked that the webmap ID and the field names match those of my layer. Does the order matter? In other words, I have alphabetized the order of the fields in the config.js file whereas they are not alphabetized on the actual feature class or within the map service or web map. Also, you might be on to something! The Title parameter did not match the name of the activities layer so I updated it. I no longer receive the "activity layer not configured error," now it just doesn't do anything when hitting Go. Brittany

Hi Allison, Thanks for the reply. Could you please clarify what you mean about the other parameters? And unfortunately, this app is internal only at the moment. I reached out to Matt Taraldsen and Mike Bialousz and provided the config.js file as well as a couple of other things. They are currently looking into the issue.

Anytime I try to search for an activity, I receive an error that states "activity layer is not configured." I checked in the config.js file and for the "ActivitySearchSettings," Enable is set to true. Thanks in advance for the help!

Hi Mark, Good to know and thank you! Just to confirm, the fix you mentioned will address the error that appears whenever there are additional point layers in the map, correct? Did you happen to observe the display issues with I.E.? Brittany
