I'm doing some work on our website. One thing I'd Iike to do is add a few URLs which will download filtered data from our Open Data/Hub site. I think I've been able to form the URL correctly, but I'm having a problem when the data is packaging for download- if the data is not already cached, I will be directed to a page showing the data as "Quedued", and things stop there. Any suggestions for getting past this and continuing to the download when it's ready?

I have a mosaic dataset which contains raster data depicting land cover. Source raster is a 1-band tif. I have a colormap (.clr file) associated with it as a raster function. The colors appear correctly. What I want to do is have the land cover types (as text) appear by default in the TOC when a user adds it to ArcMap. This worked with raster layers in the database, but I can't get it to work with the MDS. I tried the Attribute Table Function- that works but then the colormap function doesn't work.

We are having some issues with KML downloads on our Hub/Open Data site. We noticed a few layer where users can download shapefiles and csv, but if they try KML they get "an error has occurred". The same data can be downloaded as KML on the ESRI hub site The layers in question include those hosted on our servers and those on ArcGIS Online. I did not see any errors in the server logs on the layers we host

I see it works with feature services on ArcGIS Online. Will this general method work with map services on our ArcGIS Server/Portal?

Thanks Eric. I will try this. Does it absolutely require use of Jupyter Notebooks?

I have a web map that I am building into an Operations Dashboard. One of the layers is a KML feed. I know that the O.D. widgets don't support this, but wondering if anyone knows of a workaround to get KML feed/data to work with an Ops Dashboard widget?

I upgraded my Arc Desktop from 10.4.1 to 10.5.1. I have a Python script that no longer works, specifically, an address geocode process: arcpy.GeocodeAddresses_geocoding(inVendorFile, address_locator, "Street ADDRESS1 VISIBLE NONE;City City VISIBLE NONE;State STATECD VISIBLE NONE;ZIP ZIPCode VISIBLE NONE", vendor_out_feature_class, "STATIC") The script still works on another machine that still has 10.4.1. Any suggestions?

I also tried this code using a mosaic data set instead of the service URL. All the rest of the string was the same, but it worked when using the MDS. So that suggests that it has something to do with the URL to the REST service. I think Dan has a good suggestion to flag https://community.esri.com/community/developers/web-developers/arcgis-rest-api

I tried with and without the question mark, but no difference, also no luck with the where clause.

Yes, the import arcpy is at the top of the script, sorry I didn't paste that here but it is in the script. The output file does exist, and I changed that single quoted blank to double quote. And the SRS matches as well. I also tried a different image service and got the same error.

Yes, here is the actual code: arcpy.DownloadRasters_management ("https://gistest.maine.gov/arcgis/rest/services/Elevation/Maine_Elevation_DEM_Aggregate/ImageServer", "C:/ImageDiscoveryNextGen/TempOutputs/imagedata0", '', "C:/ImageDiscoveryTest/SelectionGraphic.shp")

I am writing a Python script with uses the DownloadRasters_management tool. I want to use an Image Service from one of our servers as the input. According to the documentation, the format is: arcpy.DownloadRasters_management (in_image_service, out_folder, {where_clause}, {selection_feature}, {clipping}, {convert_rasters}, {format}, {compression_method}, {compression_quality}, {MAINTAIN_FOLDER}) for the in_image_service, I entered the URL to the service in quotes, e.g. "https://myserver/myimageservice/ImageServer" -When I run the script, I get an error message "pythonw.exe has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Please close the program". -I also tried using the same URL to the service in ArcGIS Desktop, DownlaodRasters_management tool. This gives me the message that the tool ran "successfully", but in fact, there is no output. Any suggestions on how to properly format the URL to the service?

When sharing data to Open Data / Hub, how does one control filtering on Unique Values? There doesn't seem to be any control or option to do this. I have a layer shared to Open Data. It has two fields that I would like to show unique values when filtering. One field does show unique values, the other does not. They are both text fields, there are no more than 16 unique values for either field.

I have an "external" web page that is shared to my Open Data group. This is a web page containing links to downloadable shapefiles, which the user can discover in our Open Data/Hub site. (I put "external" in quotes- it's actually a page that's part of our site) -The issue is, when a user clicks on the page, it opens in a new browser tab. Is there any way to override that so that the page will open in the same browser tab, not a new one? To illustrate what I mean, go to this URL: https://geolibrary-maine.opendata.arcgis.com/datasets?q=contours Look for "Maine Elevation 2 feet Contours Tiled by Towns". Clicking this opens the resource in a new tab, want it to open in the same tab.

Still trying to determine exactly what the client wants, but it's likely that the Geometry Service with buffer task would work.
