Ahhh, well, that works. My wrinkle is that the photos are inside a repeat... the above syntax doesn't work in a repeat, best I can tell

Yes, I believe the update did solve that issue. I figured I had used it incorrectly and immediately switched some of my current surveys over to using a calculated field based on a pulldata() value instead of the string-length(${geopoint})>0 in the relevant statement.

Any guidance on how to make this work in the Web Form interface? None of the above relevant statements (or use of them in an intermediate calculate field) appears to work in progressively showing more photo fields...

Is it safe to use string-length(${photo1})>0 or is that asking for trouble down the road? I recently had a relevant column value of string-length(${geopoint})>0 break in 3.0 and cause some headaches...

I'm getting this error on the webform: FormLogicError: pulldata with incorrect number of parameters found: pulldata("@geopoint", /HOC/locGroup/pointLoc , "Y"). Was ENH-000111156 supposed to allow for pulldata() use in webforms or am I misreading that? What parameter am I missing?

Using a constraint of '.>0' works as well for preventing zero values in one of my surveys.

I was able to publish a survey with "number" as a default value for the integer field, which should prevent erroneous zeros in repeats. Thanks for the tip, Mark.

Okay, I isolated the bug: If within a repeat block and using a relevant expression and required = yes, select_one questions will appear with a strikethrough if using a minimal appearance. Likewise integer fields will be pre-populated with zeros. This has occurred with both selected() and string-length() relevant expressions. Having potentially false zeros in the survey is a rather unfortunate bug. See attached example. FYI: This occurred on a survey that had been working without error in previous versions of Survey123.

Was there ever any resolution to this question? I have a similar issue: Strikethrough on Repeat Records

Wow, I didn't expect that to work on an integer field. I changed the default to 'n' and it shows up (in red) as the default in Survey123 Connect anyway. Haven't tested yet with publishing...

As of 2.6.7, I'm getting some odd behavior on required fields within repeats. Specifically: 1. When select_one fields used in the last record are selected, the answer shows with a strikethrough (but if the field was not used in the immediately preceding record (due to relevant setting), it looks normal) 2. Required integer fields are defaulting to zero - with no default value set otherwise (this is a bigger deal as zero can be meaningful as a value and a user may forget to correctly fill it in) All data appear to be preserved and do not have strikethrough formatting if repeat records are reviewed (before submitting or from outbox). This may be related to another reported issue: select_one choice strikethrough when opened by inbox

Glad to hear nested repeats are on the docket! These are sorely needed. I would love to see them for this coming spring/summer field season... However, UC is in July?

No, I think this issue has been around for a few releases, and I'm not actually sure if it ever worked for this survey. I did a full refresh and the data viewer is still spinning as above. If I'm the only one reporting this issue, it's probably not worth sweating over as I've got a decent workaround.

Yup, I've seen this too. My map loads though, just not the table. Because of this, I use the feature class Data tab in AGOL and Map Viewer for response tracking. No single option, select_one questions in my survey.
