Excellent idea, and makes perfect sense. Thumbs up on this one!

Currently, if a publicly shared Experience Builder app encounters a feature service error on map load, the only indication is a pop-up window asking the user to log in with his/her ArcGIS Online account. Since the map is publicly shared, users don't have ArcGIS Online accounts. This causes confusion, lots of panic support emails and a loss of confidence in the map. On investigation by the map owner/admin, the issue is almost always that the feature service owner has either pulled down the layer and it's no longer available in the ArcGIS Online ecosystem, or changed sharing settings to something other than Public. I'd like to ask that ESRI improve error trapping in the Experience Builder environment, and provide the user a pop-up identifying the specific feature services that are throwing the errors, and allow the app to ignore the errors and open for the user.

A newly created Operations Dashboard that consumes a hosted feature service (both of which are shared to the Public) prompts for an ArcGIS Online user name and password. I've made sure the ArcGIS Online site is set for Anonymous Access and I've tried stripping out the organizational name in the URL. Neither of these actions fix the issue. Here's the URL: Operations Dashboard for ArcGIS Any insight as to what's going on is appreciated! Brian

My organization has been using the Launchpad Theme template in Web App Builder for over a year. With the last ArcGIS Online update in December we noticed that on all of our current web apps, and all new ones built using the Launchpad template that the secondary text in the map title bar (the smaller text that is placed between the map title and the search window) is now pushed out of the title bar and appears below it. Note in the image below the text "by the H-JAIA Geospatial Engineering Group" that appears below the title/search bar. This text should be displaying inside the title bar: We've tested several different possible fixes - shortening the text, removing spaces in the text, changing font sizes, etc. but nothing has an impact. We also know that this issue is not unique to our organization. I have the same issue in web apps created using my ArcGIS personal use site. If anyone has found a fix for this I'd love to know about it, and hopefully it gets corrected across the AGOL platform on the next update. Brian Haren

In the Dispatcher's map, in the 'Workers' feature service, is it possible to list the workers by name in the table? In the same map, under 'Assignments' the workers are identified by WorkerID number, not name. Since there's seems to be no way to correlate a worker's name with their WorkerID number, is it possible to add a field that tracks by Last Name, First Name? In the Dispatcher's map is it possible to expose the time values in the table? A lot of our collection or inspection activities will take place within very small time 'slices' and the dispatchers have asked if the time values for 'In Progress Date' and Completed on Date' can be exposed. We really don't manage by days, we manage by hours within the day and minutes within the hour.. Is it possible to have the tracking layer exposed in the Dispatcher's map? We see the ability to view tracking data as key to the Dispatcher's role In the Workforce app, we'd really like a dedicated and clearly identified 'go-to' button that takes the field worker to the selection of Collector or or Survey123 apps they can select from to accomplish the assignment. Additionally it would help if there was a button added to Collector and Survey123 that says 'Close and return to Workforce'. Right now the navigation from Workforce to Collector/Survey123 and back to Workforce is clumsy and somewhat confusing. Perhaps build it out so that the button only appears in the Collector or Survey123 apps if the apps detect Workforce is running in the background?

Matt, Interesting. Can you tell me which version of Android you rooted to, and which image you used? I've got a T41 sitting on my desk that is all but useless due to the version of Android that Trimble put on it and I want to get it rooted so I can do more with it, including running Collector and Explorer for ArcGIS.

Not yet as far as I know. I think the related table issue is more complex than ESRI initially thought. We caught it (and opened a support ticket) a few weeks ago when we noticed both the Simple Map Viewer and the new Web App Builder (beta) interfaces were not reading up the related tables for both dynamic map services and feature services with less than 50 records. Hopefully they get this fixed soon.

We have a dynamic map service that has a realtionship class (one-to-many) showing the number of restaurants using individual grease interceptors in a very dense commercial area. The grease interceptor locations and capacity are held in the geodatabase feature class, and the restaurant names, contact information, etc. is held in the related table. We have as many as four restaurants feeding into a single grease interceptor. If I add the map service to a web map (Simple Map Viewer) I am able to click the 'Show related table data' link in the pop-up and the related data appears in the table view area as expected. However, as soon as I add another map service to the map and again click the 'Show related table data' link it seems as though the link goes to the attribute table for the first data element in the newly added map service and tries to display that table. For example, if I add a new dynamic map service showing stormwater data, and click the grease interceptor related table link the map will try to display the attribute table for stormwater structures. All map services are dynamic map services and are referenced through Web Adaptor. The problem shows up in both Chrome and IE 11. Any thoughts as to what may be going on here are greatly appreciated!
