Hello, is any of the FMV capability available in the .NET runtime? (or is it on the future road map?)

Found a related issue with this - it looks like if you change the a PictureMarkerSymbol's Angle after initial creation it has no effect in a Scene unless you also change something is like its Width or Height as well. How to reproduce: Add a Graphic with a PictureMarkerSymbol Wait a bit and set that symbol's Angle, note that it has no effect If you change both its Angle and its Width is does the redraw as expected (Note that changing just the Angle works fine in a Map)

Hi, I've got a layer on which I've enabled Labeling by settings its LabelProperties. I've noticed two a couple of problems when using this in a Scene vs a Map: Border isn't drawn -- my TextSymbol in the LabelProperties has a border which works fine in a Map but is not drawn in a scene. MinScale isn't respected -- my AttributeLabelClass is using minScale to hide the labels past a given zoom level; again this works fine in a Map but has no effect in a Scene. Can anyone confirm? Thanks.

Thanks Antti, it looks like you're spot on. Unfortunately the change to static won't work for us as these items are changing position frequently and are at altitude. We'll take a look at using individual PictureMarkerSymbols until there's a release with a fix. Thanks again.

Hello, I'm using the RotationExpression on a UniqueValueRenderer to rotate some PictureMarkerSymbols, this works like a charm in a Map but seems to have no effect in a Scene. Can anyone confirm? If so, any suggested workarounds? (Simplest way to test is to just modify the UniqueValueRendererSample, add in the bits to introduce a RotationExpression, see that it works then change it to a Scene in the xaml and note that it doesn't any more). Thanks

Hi all, I'm working with the ArcGIS .net runtime 10.2.5, in particular I'm looking at the DynamicLayerAddData sample. I can add an local image layers just fine as long as they've got the geo/projection information embedded in the image (e.g. a geotiff with geodata in it). My question is, is it possible to take a plain tiff and programmatically specify that geo information through the API, is that possible? (In this case I've got the plain image and the geo/proj info from a separate metadata system). Is it possible, and if so is there any sample code available? Thanks much, Bobby

Hi Asser, Sure thing, I was hoping to see if I'd get any quick responses before needing to pull it out of our product and into a stand alone app, but I can certainly look into that. I'll keep you posted. Cheers, Bobby

Apparently submitted early. Anyway, that typically works fine, but occasionally the arcgis API throws the exception listed below. Anyone have any ideas? Hi All, I'm curious is anyone has seen this exception before and had any ideas on resolution. Background: Basically we periodically create and remove graphics in a GraphicsOverlay, something akin to the following: Add: MapPoint pt = new MapPoint(lon, lat, elev, SpatialReferences.Wgs84); pt = GeometryEngine.Project(pt, myMapRefSsytem) as MapPoint; Graphic g = new PictureMarkerSymbol(); g.SetSourceAsync(new Uri(iconAnno.IconPath)); myGraphicsOverlay.Graphics.Add(g); Remove: myGraphicsOverlay.Graphics.Remove(f.Gfx);

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I don't think that's the root issue. I'm using the SetSourceAsync(Uri ur) version of the call, and passing in URLs that truly are remote (http) images. All the images are unique.

Note that the pictures are from two different runs of the app (not two different graphics during the same run). Sometimes the orange will load fine, sometimes it'll fail.

Hi there, Using the .NET SDK 10.2.5, I'm creating PictureMarkerSymbols to display a placemark style graphics. I'm setting the images for these using SetSourceAsync. I'm finding that frequently some of the images are not loading properly/are missing (like in the image on the left). Out of say 100 graphics, that have 100 different images, maybe 50% will load correctly. The underlying images are there (you can see from the popup), but it's random how many of the PictureMarkerSymbols fail to load their picture and which particular images they are. Any ideas? Thanks
