I have issues with the apply symbology in pro as well. I saved a layer file with the symbology set using the Defined Interval method with interval size of 15. When applying the symbology, Pro is resetting the defined interval to 1 and creating far too many classes. If I simply add the saved symbology layer to the map everything looks correct with defined intervals of 15. It's only when using the apply symbology tool that it doesn't correctly apply the saved symbology. Seems as though tool is not reading all of the saved values in the symbology layer.

I loaded a web map that includes a vector basemap into the cascade story map app and it's causing chrome to consistently crash. Removing the vector basemap and using an imagery or light gray basemap from the picker causes chrome to behave normally. Can we not have vector basemaps in cascade?

Hi - we're receiving the same error in Firefox within an AGO story map. The main stage is set to load a pdf as a web page. As a user scrolls to this section in the story map the error appears: "unable to create map: d is null" Other browsers don't seem to have this issue.

Hello - The legend seems to have a fixed/max width that is cutting off the point description labels. Is there a way to expand or allow for wrap text features? The same fixed width issue is happening with the navigation menu mouse over pop ups for each journal entry circle. Thanks!

Patrick - thank you for this update. I updated all of my browsers to flash player 11.9.900.152 to see if the issue persists in the newest version, and it does. I'm going to try downgrading to 11.7 this afternoon. Thanks, Arthur I uninstalled 11.9 and installed 11.7 following these directions: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1022066?tstart=0 The issue remains. The browser needs to be refreshed 2-3 times before the widgets display properly. The first few instances work fine, but deleting the cache and retesting 5-6 more times causes the issue to eventually show. Still no problems with 3.4 just 3.5. Will wait to hear back on the ticket that was previously opened.

After recently upgrading to 3.5, I came across this problem. The culprit seems to be the newest version of flash player 11.9.900.117. After uninstalling that version and installing 11.7 for Firefox and IE, the problem seems to have disappeared. The flash player in Chrome has the same issue but not at the same rate of failure. Clearing the cache always seems to correct. Hopefully, this helps or at least bumps it up so that others can chime in. Patrick Patrick - thank you for this update. Hello, A patch is now available from Esri for this issue when using ArcGIS Server version 10.1 SP1: http://support.esri.com/en/downloads/patches-servicepacks/view/productid/66/metaid/2054 This issue does not occur when using 10.2 Final with the latest versions of Google Chrome. Thanks Derek Hello Derek, I believe this issue is now happening in Firefox 25.0. Will the patch address this browser as well? Thanks, Arthur

I opened a support ticket with Esri support and I'm still waiting on a response Great, thanks. It's usually the third refresh that gets everything to show correctly. The flash player version is 11.9.900.117 in both Firefox and IE and the issue exists with both after clearing the cache. When I go back to 3.4 this problem doesn't occur. I look forward to hearing what they say. I did notice in IE that I now get an extra scroll bar on the right side and bottom of the browser window in both 3.4 and 3.5 even with a 21" monitor. I usually stay away from IE though.

Arthur, I am not a big Chrome fan so I don't know any more than what I Google on the net. I'm starting to understand why. Thank you for the help! It works with everything else.

Arthur, The mailto handling is browser specific and can be altered by the end users preference changes in the browser or a corporations IT restrictions. The user can change how mailto: links behave in chrome by visiting chrome://settings/handlers, or Chrome Settings->Content Settings->Manage Handlers... Robert, Thank you for the quick reply. Following that route, my Protocol Handlers are blank with no option to add or specify one. Should there be an option to specify outlook or gmail handlers here? Thank you

Hi all, I used this thread and code to create a Pass URL widget, but have problems with Chrome not wanting to open an email program like Outlook. Firefox and IE open fine without problem, but Chrome opens up a tab with the message "This webpage is not available." I cleared out the history and reran, but still have issues. Am I missing something in the code? I should add that the Parks Finder equivalent at http://localgovtemplates2.esri.com/ParkFinder/default.htm works fine in my Chrome version whereby it opens Outlook correctly. Thank you
