I see how I can manually export a Feature Attribute Table to CSV (Going to the Table by right clicking it in the Table of Contents, and using the Settings icon to Export and change the file name to .csv after selecting Text), but I can't seem to find a Toolbox item to export a table to CSV? Is there a way to do it without including Latitude and Longitude? I would like to be able to incorporate it in a Modelbuilder routine. Thank you.

That almost answers my question. Does that mean Null values can make the import fail in Access? And how short is short?

In ArcGIS 10.4 I create custom symbology for my layer, and then save the Layer file As with a right click from the Table of Contents. Occasionally I have to update a table this layer file uses as a Join file to produce this symbology. Upon my reconnecting the Join, and opening the Symbology, it tells me the layer file is not supported when I open it on the Import command. I get the error message "This symbology option is not supported for importing." How do I force it to work?

Thank you. Now still trying to figure out how to import into Access 2013 without running into errors on occasion. Could null values or longer than 8 character field names with underscores make a difference?

Parameters are nice, except I just want to run it as is. All the parameters have been set in the script.

OK, now that I have several models, it seems that in order to run an entire model, I have to go and edit it, and use the Model menu to run the entire model. Does modelbuilder let you make executable scripts that simply run on double click, but are editable with right click? ArcGIS Desktop 10.4 here.

Using the ArcGIS Desktop 10.4 Table to Excel Arctoolbox script in the Conversion Tools -> Excel I am sometimes able to make an Excel 97-2003 document that imports directly into Microsoft Access without any issues using the DoCmd.TransferSpreadsheet acImport, acSpreadsheetTypeExcel8, "Table", strFilename, True method, but sometimes it fails, and I have to open the document in Excel and save as a document of 97-2003 format with my Excel 2013. Why does it not always work? Can null values in certain fields create a problem?

Thank you both. Honestly, it would have been nice if ESRI had made a simple background script that reproduced all of the Model's functions that could easily be edited by code or within the model depending on which path one wants to take. I see though they have made it more complicated than that.

ArcGIS 10.4 Desktop, I build myself a model, and it seems if I want to apply it to a different geodatabase, I have to rebuild the model from scratch! I can't reimport a python script exported from Modelbuilder after changing let's say the input database name across the entire script. I am using Idle 2.7.10 as an editor. When I select the input database, if I have many calculations, the following ovals keep their naming from the old model even if the original input database is a different name. That may confuse the computer if I want to make a different model for a different database. Do I have to just make the model work in a different MXD just distinct to that database, and separate the geodatabases so the contents with the same name are not overwritten of the individual tables from each other?

Both these questions are for ArcGIS desktop 10.4: I have built a nice database tied with a linear shapefile and saved Field Calculator equations to manage the data on the database. However, I see no way to permanently tag a Field Calculator equation to a field. How does one do that? I find if I go to another field and use the Field calculator it totally forgets the Field Calculator equation was inserted in the first field, and I have to manually load it each time I use the Field Calculator to adjust the equation of another field. I would rather the field remember it is tied to the equations I gave it in the first place! In modelbuilder, unless I add elements to my model, once I run the model, it won't allow me to rerun it, unless I delete the intermediate data each time. Is there any way to automate this process? New data is going to come into my table and I want to be able to rerun the modelbuilder model each time I have to update my table.

Why is it so difficult to answer the question? Is there any value in getting the Network Analyst to help improve my results of this tool or not? If not, then just say so. Thank you.

So in other words, there is an equal chance of being worse off with Network Analyst based results as without?
