It worked for me earlier to press the scroll bar. This session in v3.2.0 it does not work any more and the map view does not have any scrollbars any more. So as written before the keyboard shortcuts do the trick now http://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/help/editing/keyboard-shortcuts-for-editing.htm

@Scott_HarrisI will consider that, I just have decide about another more severe bug reporting and there is only so much I can handle. For me editing in ESRI products has always been slow, so I always just accepted it as something very badly handled in the program.

@SeaRMIf there are options that still work, it is great. It just seems like a step back that something that was included earlier, is not provided by ESRI any more.

@BruceHaroldGreat idea to keep it in memory. I am not sure if I then have to rerun the step every time I open the map again? I am curious about what made it easier for you to implement in ArcMap?

@Scott_Harris Great! ArcGIS Pro is simply so complex and it is difficult to keep updated with all updates. Especially it looks like you even have the single letters instead of key combinations, which is really great. Then again, another experience when editing is, that even moving a point can take a while. Again, comparing to a 3D CAD, this is really slow and I cannot see, why it should be more complicated than in a CAD. There is a lot of additional stuff in the map, but this should not affect how to identify the new coordinate. Same applies to writing new attribute values. Part of the reason that I stick to shapefiles stil is that I can easily edit the attributes outside ArcGIS because it is so much faster, even with the extra steps involved.

@Scott_Harrisyou ask for specific suggestions, I have noted that it still needs clarification, but not read all comments. IOne suggestion would be more keyboard shortcuts (eg. for create, create a specific type). I know for the last click in the original description you can use F2. Check Autodesk fusion for the use of keyboard together with opening dialogs and use of TAB to get through them. An option would also be by default suggest the feature selected in TOC for editing. and as mentioned with the ribbon (and this applys to all parts of pro) keep the dialogs together.

In ArcMap it was possible to load MapInfo .Tab data directly with the data interoperability extension. Now I have to convert them to gdb or shapefiles. This makes it very cumbersome, increases the risk of several versions and blows up the data volume. So I really would like the option to view .Tab data with the data interoperability extension back.

It is one of those pfoperties that are not automatically calculated in a .gdb. As a workaround it is easiest, just to remove the join and reapply it.

Sometimes ArcGIS pro becomes extremely slow when you make changes in the main dialogue of the symbology (currently I have googled, emptied the temp folder, got a coffee and started to write this in ArcGIS PRO is still stuck because of updating symbology. It is a big dataset I know, I have set all maps on pause, and it still slows extremely down) I would like to do at least all steps in the main window (in the current case, change the order of the classes), preferably also all changes in the sub dialogues (eg. changing the color of a single class) before applying all changes collectedly at one time.

At the moment, ArcGIS Pro sets an automatic limit for the returned features of 3000. If you do not know it, there is a high risk that your map/analysis will not be based on the full dataset. With the current technological progress, I suggest not to set a limit by default and to include the option to set a limit into the setup dialog. In general, all that can be found in the Layer Properties of a WFS layer should be possible to be set up in the setup. Alternatively it should be possible after connection in the catalogue view. At the moment you have to add the layer to a map first to access the Layer WFS properties.

It is possible to name them after clicking OK. To name them while creating would be much more effective. Same applies to notebooks.

The problem is, that when calculating geometry, I cannot add a column to the shapefile while I have a joined table. I get the error that suggest that I try to add to the joined table. So I am wondering, if I have to write the column names differently or is it a bug? My workaround is to remove all joins, calculate the geometry into new columns, reapply the join.

I try to Calculate geometry and attemptedto create new columns while having a join.I always get the error: ERROR 001486: Cannot use fields from joined tables. How is the correct way to define that the columns are supposed to be added to the shapefile, not the joined table? I tried both just the new column name and layername.columnname. The names do not exist in the joined table.
