Are you able to use ArcGIS Pro? ArcGIS Pro does not require a Product Library so the setup is simplified. If you have ArcMap, you should also have access to ArcGIS Pro.

I apologize but I forgot that we actually have a script for this available on our Product Support page. https://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=8a573266a9574dddb8590a481ef3878b Let me know if this works for you.

Do you mean you want to delete an ENC from the database? The only way I could think of to do that would be to go through the tables and select based on the Dataset Name (DSNM) attribute, since each feature that is imported from a specific ENC will have its DSNM value on the record. If I have misunderstood your question, please let me know.

It looks like you either have the land turned off in the second image, or the service was created without the land areas. I only say that because the ENC service appears to be on top of the Imagery Service. In the second image, are you visualizing the ENC Service in ArcGIS Pro, or in a web application?

There is ArcMap help that should help you for now, since the feature classes are the same, and the workflow is the same. https://desktop.arcgis.com/en/arcmap/latest/extensions/maritime-charting-guide/edit-s57/working-with-spatial-attributes.htm

Hi Kamaruddin, There isn't a complete S-101 Portrayal Catalogue yet, so what we have is ported from S-52. That said, there are some templates on ArcGIS Online that you can download that come with the UKHO "Micklefirth" sample dataset, converted from S-57 to S-101, and loaded in a Pro project and symbolized with the migrated S-52 symbols. The Pro Project can be downloaded from here: https://www.arcgis.com/home/group.html?id=dbbf236dec504118b569bdb5a47a28ee#overview There is a video on some of the maritime bathymetry capabilities in Pro, which is on YouTube. The S-100 capabilities in Pro include a converter GP tool, to convert your S-57 datasets to S-101, and there are tools to import and export S-101 datasets. In the next release, we will have tools for managing and creating complex attributes and feature associations in S-100. We will be creating videos of these tools and I can make you aware when they are available. If you want to reach out to me directly for more information, please do, I can give you a sneak peak at some of these new capabilities. cgreene@esri.com Thanks - Craig

Hi Nate, The NIS isn't really designed for viewing ENCs in the traditional ECDIS sense. It's really made to take navigational S-57 data and transform it into GIS data. If you want to symbolize the data like ENC, there are tools you can run on the geodatabase so that it looks more like an ECDIS display. I can help you with that. There are even python script tools on GitHub that automate this process, like S-57 to GIS: GitHub - Esri/maritime-charting-sample-scripts: Sample scripts and models to automate work in ArcGIS for Maritime: Chart… On the same note, there are not tools for isolating a single cell out of the NIS, as the NIS isn't really meant to represent ENC cells, just data. However, there are ways in which you could isolate date by extent (choose a metadata polygon feature from a specific dataset and clip to shape). Or, you could use the attributes to place a definition query on the layers based on the dataset name attribute (which stores the name of the S-57 cell that the data originally came from). Please feel free to reach out to me directly at cgreene@esri.com and I can provide you with more detailed information, and also probably ask you a few questions to see if there is a better/best way to help you achieve your end goal. thanks - craig

The only type of data you can add to the BIS from a geodatabase is point feature class data. Otherwise, you will add the raster elevation datasets directly to the BIS, and do not need to add them to a geodatabase first. The advantage to this approach is that you do not have to first copy your rasters to a geodatabase only to have them referenced by the BIS. They can be referenced from their original location.

Hi Jill, The maritime PoD requires the use of S-57 datasets. These datasets provide the map content, and are delivered to PoD via the Maritime Chart Service, so they essentially go hand-in-hand. You cannot have a Maritime PoD without S-57 datasets. If you are looking for a PoD that does not require the use of maritime data, then you can use the Civilian Topographic Mapping PoD, which instead uses a geodatabase to provide the map content.

I realize this reply comes a little late, but I happened to see it when answering a similar question, so, if you're still out there the answer is Yes, you can do this. Here is a sample expression you can apply to the field that will round the values to the hundredths position. Replace FIELD with your field. Function FindLabel ( [FIELD] ) FindLabel = round([FIELD], 2) End Function Hope this helps and that it wasn't too late!

I can provide you with a label expression that will truncate values to the decimeter and subscript for S-4 visualization in ArcMap, if that helps. To change your depth values based on specific logic, you can use Calculate Field to apply whatever math you like to the value. If you have Maritime Charting, it truncates (or rounds, it's configurable to do either) on export. By default, the truncation is to the S-57 standard in terms of precision.

You can set up label classes based on depth ranges. Each label class will have a definition query to only show depths of a specific range (DEPTH between 0 and 20 in one label class, >20 to 30 in another, for example). Then, for each label class, you can choose your own font, font color, etc. I can provide greater detail if needed.

The GP tool logs in the GP window. However, I was also able to import this cell with the Icommand you are using in version 10.2.2. The only features that were not mapped were the DEPARE_L features. Again, these are not mapped because of the IHO encoding bulletin. However, you can add the mapping to the product xml and they will be imported. I am not convinced that this is why your import fails, but it is a possible source of the problem. Attached is the log file from the Icommand import.
