I made the changes to the code (shown below), but the unwanted options still remain in the drop down menu. However, I think you are correct. I bet the problem is how the function callbacks are named. WAB uses letters for variable naming conventions instead of actual names; which makes it confusing. I'm going to go through the code and make sure that where you use obj, result, defs etc., matches the hard-to-follow lettering convention that WAB uses.

Hello Robert. Thank you for your reply. And yes, I am aware of the setting to allow\not allow exports in WAB. However, even if I deselect this setting, there is still an option for creating a layer; which I would like to remove (shown below). And I would like to retain the ability to export to csv. I'm assuming that this menu is coming from an api and cannot be configured? But I'm not sure to be honest. I found some documentation in the dojo/dijit tutorials, but not how to configure this. Any ideas on where I could research this? Again, thank you for replying. Any information helps.

I am new to dojo, dijit and Javascript. I'd like to know if it is possible to remove export choices from the Select widget's (or any widget) dropdown menu, after a selection. Some of the options are Export to GeoJSON, Export to Feature Collection etc. In time, I would like to educate the folks using the Web App about what they can do with these, but for now it only creates confusion. And outside of that, I just want to know if it is possible to do. It is overwhelming to look at all of the files associated with a web app, but I put a lot of effort into researching them. I have searched and searched for information about this, but can't seem to find anything. I've played around with config and manifest files, but nothing seems to remove them entirely. This is nothing critical but I am very curious about it. I have exhausted everywhere I can think to look for an answer. At this point I will just concede that it's too advanced for my current expertise. Thank you in advance for any information on this and I hope the question isn't too confusing.

Thank you Tim for the reply. It's much appreciated. I absolutely understand everything that you discussed. This is how I'm entering the COGO. When I first receive the legal description, instead of using Parcel Editor first, I go just Editor by itself. Here, I use the Traverse Window to enter my COGO. I do this because here we use Workflow Manager to create a new job (i.e. a Version) to do editing. If something is not right with the legal description, or a number of other possible issues, it's a process to delete the job from Workflow Manager. So I begin by using Editor by itself first. Unfortunately, in Editor, as far as I know, there is no way to designate a line as an origin connection. So I just enter the COGO and then save my edits if everything looks good. At this point, I create a job through Workflow Manager and it opens another mxd where now I am able to work within the Parcel Fabric. I then drag and drop the feature class into this mxd. I do exactly as the online help describes to do by using the Edit Tool in Editor to copy and paste the COGO lines into the Parcel Editor Grid. This is exactly when the reorder happens. Now, it doesn't happen every time. There are some times when point number one starts where it should; normally at the GDAC section corner or quarter corner where I begin the traverse. But many times it turns out just like the example that I gave. Some of my coworkers brought this issue up with ESRI. They said that ESRI is not really sure why this is happening. And to this day, nobody is really sure what exactly there is that can be done. Some coworkers start deleting rows and adding rows and recalculating get it fixed. I just delete the whole thing and then I start over, reentering the lines into Parcel Editor. My first point being the "Point of commencement" from the legal description. Anyway, I hope I'm making sense, and if you or anyone you know has any more information about this, I would be happy to hear it. Thank you again for your reply.

Has anyone experienced this problem when copying Editor COGO lines to Parcel Editor Construction? When create the COGO lines in Editor, then try to copy and paste the lines into the Fabric, point number one (always anchored at a GDAC Survey Point) often times is reordered and the anchor point becomes another number in the sequence. And if it's not adjusted, error messages will ensue. I have attached a PDF file to illustrate my question.

Hello. Can anyone tell me where I can find information on what the symbols mean, in the auto fill box, when typing commands in the Python Interpreter window? When I start to type in a command, the auto fill begins to give me possible commands that I'm looking for. On the left side of each command is, for example, a blue box with blue dashes or just a purple box. I've looked everywhere for an explanation of what these mean, and I cannot find anything at all. I'm new to Python and I'm not an expert programmer, so that's probably why I'm not understanding this. But as I move through tutorials, I'd like to know what these mean. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you for any info.

Hello. Does anyone have any ideas on the MOST accurate address database nationally? It needs to be compared with existing parcel layers purchased from government agencies, like the Assessor's office, for example. The idea would be to identify missing addresses from the given parcel layer for any given city within the United States. So far I've tried the USPS national database as an identifier. However, is this the most accurate available? Does anyone have any better experience with a different agency/vendor? I'm looking for something extremely accurate. And it would be nice to have XY's, but not crucial. There is an endless sea of vendor's when a Google search is performed, but I'm hoping to find someone here that has had good success with any particular product. I appreciate any information from anybody. Thank you!

Rick, thank you for getting back to me. Unfortunately, all of my digital AsBuilts exceed the MB limit to post here. I was able to talk to an Engineer about my question. He said to look for anything that says "tapping sleeve", "remove stub" or things like that. In the past I've always looked for something that said "Point of Connection". But apparently that's not always the case. If you have anymore pointers, I'm all ears. Thanks again for the reply. Chad

Can anyone explain to me where to find the Point of Connection for a Water Line in an AsBuilt? I have some Civil Improvemnt plans for which I'm trying to construct water mains, valves, bends etc. But for the life of me I cannot find exatcly which page contains the point of beginning. So I don't even know where to start from. I guess my question would be: Is there somewhere on AsBuilts that say where the point of conncection is? Thanks for any replys.
