Each grid size is 1x1 mile and total grid count is 35000. That rain grid layer is for entire region. I am already restricting polygons if rainfall values are not there. But if I consider worse case scenarios like heavy rainfall or flood in that region then all the grid will have some rainfall values. Now every 15 mins, we are getting rainfall values so If I want to show 6 hrs data then I have to deal with total 840000 (35000 * 4 (15 min) * 6 hrs). Now if half region has rainfall then also I have to deal with 120000 records.

All, I am working on animating rainfall data based on time series. We have 15 min NRT (Near Real Time) rainfall data stored in Oracle. And we have Rain Grid polygon (35000 records) data stored in Enterprise Geodatabase. The use cases are based on following time frames. 15 minute data for the past 6 hours, 1 hour data for the past 24 hours, 3 hour data for the past 3 days, 6 hour data for the past 7 days, 1 day data for the past 30 days, I am using ArcGIS API for JavaScript and it's Time Slider control to filter and render data based on above time series. For each above time frame we have a temp table and I have created spatial view using RainGrid layer and temp table and publish it as a map service so I can consume it using arcgis js web app. Due to high volume of data (500K+), I am seeing poor performance and it take lots of time to render. Does anyone has better approach or any tips to improve performance? Appreciate any response.

You can create the test project using ArcGIS templates for Visual Studio 2013 and compile it so you would see the add-in and later you load all your forms and class files from old project.

Hello Everyone, I am migrating existing tools written in ArcGIS 10 to ArcGIS 10.3. I am getting stuck on one of the error ("The user must be table owner") throws by one command while it tries to delete the version using IVersion.Delete() method. That command basically reconcile and post changes from current map version to it's parent version and switch map to parent version and delete child version. Same command works fine on ArcGIS 10. On database side I have upgraded geodatabase to ArcGIS 10.3 and grant required permission. Anybody has any clue why it's getting failed and what that error means? Appreciate your response.

I am running ArcGIS 10 with Service Pack 5 and Geodatabase reside in SQL Server 2008 R2 with ArcSDE 10. I have loaded almost 14 million point records into child version of sde.DEFAULT. Now when I tries to reconcile and post using ArcCatalog/ArcMap/Python Script it's running for 3 to 4 hour and crashing. I am not getting any error message. Anybody knows any work around or how to fix this issue? Thanks in advance

All : I want to use Visual Studio 2010 against ArcGIS 9.3.1. Just for the demo purpose, I have created simple command and tried to register but it's say "No new objects added". Note : I have first installed VS2010 then installed ArcGIS 9.3.1. After that when I tried to installed SDK, it says either VS2005 or VS2008 required. So I have installed express VS2008 and could able to installed SDK for ArcGIS 9.3.1. But when i am creating project in VS2010 (pointing to .NET Framework 3.5) and tried to add the references, it's not showing ESRI libraries under .NET saction so I have browse those libraries and compile the project. It successfully created .dll and .tlb file but not getting registered. Has anyone face this issue before ? It would be good if anyone has some workaround. Thanks, Chirag
